Meaning:Wehaveanobligationtoprayoneforanother.An intercessorisonewhopleadsonbehalfofanother.Jesusdid thisforPeter(Luke22:32);AbrahamintercededforSodom andGomorrah(Genesis18:23-32);Mosesforthechildrenof Israel(Exodus32:11-14);PaulforOnesimus(Philemon1018);andthelistcouldgoonandon.Samuelsaiditwouldbe asinforhimifhedidnotintercedeforIsrael(ISamuel 12:23).
