Meaning:Itisimportanttohavespecifictimeseverydaytotalktothe Lord.Growingspirituallyisadaybydayrenewaldonethroughprayer andBiblereading.Christianswhodonotprayonschedule,usuallydo notpray.Itisimportanttofindormakeatimethatisuninterrupted duringwhichyoucandailytalkwithGod.DanielkneeledbeforeGod threetimesaday.Hisprayertimewassoroutinethatunbelievers gatheredatcertaintimesbecausetheyknewtheywouldfindhim praying(Daniel6:11).
Application:Itisinterestingthatweschedule work,meals,recreation,appointments,and vacation,yetwedonotscheduleatimetohave adailyaudiencewiththeAlmightyGod.David saidinPsalm55:17,"Evening,andmorning, andatnoon,willIpray,andcryaloud:andhe shallhearmyvoice."Davidplacedaspecial emphasisonthemorningtimetotalkwithGod (Psalm5:3).HowmuchbetteraChristian'sday wouldgo,ifhewouldbeginitwithGod!
