Meaning:Peaceisquietness,rest,orsettingatoneagain.The kindofpeaceGodgivesisthekindthat"passethall understanding"(Philippians4:7).Theworldcannotunderstand howaChristiancanbesoundisturbedinthischaoticworld, butweknowitisbecauseofGod.Ithasbeenwrittenthisway, "KnowGod,knowpeace;noGod,nopeace."
Application:TohavethepeaceofGod,youmust havepeacewithGod.WegetpeacewithGodwhen weacceptJesusChristasourSaviour(Romans5:1).
