Meaning:"Theearthlyhouseofthistabernacle"isour bodies.WhenwegettoHeavenwewillhaveourglorified bodies,"Anhousenotmadewithhands."Upondeathorthe Rapture"thiscorruptiblemustputonincorruption,andthis mortalmustputonimmortality"(ICorinthians15:53).
Application:Wehavethepromisethatwhena believerdies,hegoestoHeaven,becauseJesussaid, "thatwhereIam,thereyemaybealso"(John14:3).
SinceJesusispresentlyattherighthandofGodin Heaven(Romans8:34),weknowthatiswherewe willbealso.Heaveniseverlastingand immeasurable.InHeavenisGod'sthrone,Hishouse, andHisdwellingplace.Jesusispreparingaplace thereforallthosewhobelieveonHim(John14:1,2).
