Faith Movers Nation!

The year of 2025 was nothing short of amazing! We came into 2025 transitioning from our “happening” season and we moved into nly, we were able to get free. Our church experienced a major milestone and it was a history making , God blew our minds. We experienced true freedom!

declaration. We decreed and declared that this would be “The Year of Freedom.” No more chains, no g to walk in the freedom of God in 2025! We were going to get free and be holy, happy, and healthy. d! Freedom was swift and God did a “suddenly” for our church! We prayed in the morning and at wed. Then God caused money that had been held up for years to be released to our church. By June, dom looks good on us! It is only by the grace of God that this was able to happen!
026, let us remain bold and steadfast in our faith, devotion, and commitment to God and His word. Keep Moving” and we will do just that. God has shown himself strong and we can’t stop now! We ery word and direction that He has spoken over us. As we keep moving, God is going to give us rejuvenation. Just as he gave us freedom in 2025, he will help us to keep moving in 2026.
n for us (theme 2024), allowed us to be free (theme 2025), and we will keep moving (theme 2026). The ore for us and there is still much work to do. We stand ready for what God would have us do. Let us ther!

The first day of school at Faith Movers Academy was nothing short of electric. From the mom families stepped onto campus, the atmosphere buzzed with joy, anticipation, and FMA pride were greeted at the doors by energetic cheerleaders, who cheered them on and welcomed th the Worship Center for an unforgettable pep rally.
The room erupted in excitement as staff, family, and friends participated in the Father Abra dance along song, setting the tone for a year of movement, confidence, and impact. And just when the scholars thought the morning couldn’t get any better, a special guest arrived. Bluey ma surprise appearance, bringing smiles, laughter and a little extra magic to the celebration.
Then came the moment that marked the true beginning of the school year. Led by Coach Cr FMA Vanguard--and Pastor Moses, the scholars lined up in formation. With the crowd cheer on, they charged forward and burst through the run-through banner, boldly declaring, “We Vanguards!” The hallway erupted in applause as scholars marched proudly into their new ac year.
Families were invited to visit classrooms for a brief tour, allowing them to meet teachers, s learning spaces, and take first-day photos. Afterwards, they gathered in the chapel for light refreshments and fellowship, celebrating the start of a brand-new year of learning and grow
Because it was an early dismissal day, scholars headed home at 11:30AM--but not before enj action-packed morning that set the tone for an inspiring school year. The excitement, pride unity felt throughout the building made it clear: 2025-2026 will be a year to remember at Fa Movers Academy.

In October, Faith Movers Academy held our first fundraiser of the school year featuring Double Good Popcorn. We are pleased to share that the fundraiser was a great success, raising a total of $4,533.50 This achievement reflects the outstanding participation and support of our scholars, families, and staff. We are grateful for everyone’s efforts in making this initiative successful and look forward to future opportunities to continue building community and supporting our school.

October
All Faith Movers Academy scholars participated in our annual field trip to County Line Orchard, making it a memorable and meaningful experience for our school community. Family participation was nearly one-to-one, reflecting the strong partnership and trust between home and school that remain hallmarks of FMA.
During the visit, scholars enjoyed a hayride through the apple orchard, sampled fresh apple cider, and explored the farm's sights and sounds. Each scholar left with apples and pumpkins, extending the learning experience beyond the trip itself. This outing not only provided hands-on learning and seasonal enrichment but also strengthened relationships among scholars, families, and staff, reinforcing our commitment to community, connection, and shared experiences.
November
Faith Movers Academy scholars visited Governors State University’s Center for Performing Arts for a live theatrical performance of When Good Broccoli Goes Bad. Providing opportunities to experience theater and cultural arts is an important part of enriching our scholars’ learning beyond the classroom, and this visit was both engaging and educational.
In addition to the performance, scholars participated in a post-show activity focused on plant growth and sustainability. During this hands-on experience, scholars learned how plants grow and the importance of caring for living things. Each participating scholar received a plant sample to take home and plant, extending the learning experience into their homes.
This field trip combined the arts and science with experiential learning, reinforcing Faith Movers Academy’s commitment to wellrounded education and meaningful exposure to culture and the arts.
December
The academic year concluded with our scholars’ final field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry, where they explored the Christmas Around the World exhibit. Strong parent participation once again underscored the meaningful partnership between home and school, enriching our scholars experience.
The highlight of the month was Faith Movers Academy’s Christmas Program, “The Real Meaning of Christmas.” Through music, spoken word, and performance, our scholars shared a powerful and hopeful message centered on joy, peace, love, faith, and kindness. Their talent and creativity captivated an audience of more than 200 attendees, beautifully reflecting the true spirit of the holiday season and bringing the year to a joyful close.
