How much does the Summit cost?

What's included in my registration?

5 days / 4 nights aboard Royal Caribbean s Wonder of the Seas cruise ship (April 20-24).

4D balcony stateroom with ocean view.

Meals and beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic) throughout your stay at the included restaurants.

Wi-Fi for one (1) device per person.

Access to Royal Caribbean shows.

Ground transportation in the Bahamas to and from EDUTours.

Exclusive EDUTours and educational sessions. *Subject to availability.

Are there different types of cabins?

There are single and double cabin options; both are 4D category cabins with a balcony and ocean view. Check cabin availability with the Events team.

What documents do I need to register for this event?

To enter the United States and board the cruise, you need a valid passport and U.S. visa that covers the duration of your trip.

No documents are required to disembark in the Bahamas, although it is recommended to carry your passport. A Bahamas visa is not required for stays of less than 3 months.

What is the registration deadline?

The last day to register is February 28. *There will be no extensions.*

Can I register on-site?

Registration for the event closes on February 28, so it will not be possible to register after that date or at the cruise.

What time and where will accreditation for the Summit take place, and what do I need?

Registration for the Summit will take place on Monday, January 20th, aboard the Wonder of the Seas cruise ship. There you can pick up your name badge and a welcome pack.

Where does the cruise depart from?

It departs from Port Miami – Dodge Island at 1015 N. America Way in Miami, FL 33132. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the appropriate terminal. A valid U.S. visa is required.

What are the cruise boarding times?

Boarding will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. local time (EST).

How far is Miami International Airport from the cruise terminal?

It is 9.5 miles (approximately 15 km). The approximate driving time is 25 minutes, but please consider that traffic may vary.

Do I need to register my partner if they are accompanying me?

Yes, registration is required. If you have any questions about how to do so, please contact the IAAPA Events team at Events@IAAPA.org or via WhatsApp.

What time does the cruise end? Does it return to the same port?

The disembarkation process back at Port Miami will be on April 24th from 6 to 10 a.m. local time.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is comfortable casual: light pants or shorts, light shirts or polo shirts, a hat or cap, and sunglasses.

Comfortable footwear is highly recommended for all activities.

During some activities, you will have the option to use water facilities, so swimsuits and sandals are required.

Sunscreen is recommended.

What is the weather like in the Caribbean in April?

In April, the weather in the Caribbean is usually very pleasant, making it one of the best months to visit. The average high temperature is between 28 and 31°C (82-88°F), and the average low is around 23–25°C (73–77°F). Humidity is moderate, lower than in the summer months.

Will I be able to use the parks and attractions?

During the itinerary, there will be free time to use the facilities both on the cruise ship and at CocoCay and Atlantis Paradise Island, so be prepared.

When I arrive in Nassau, Bahamas, do I need to disembark with my passport?

A passport is the simplest and most widely accepted form of identification for boarding and re-boarding the ship. It is recommended that you carry it with you, as authorities may occasionally request it.

Will there be translation?

Yes, during the opening ceremony and the educational and networking sessions of the event, translation into your preferred language will be available through the AI ​​​​tool Wordly, which is free for attendees. We recommend bringing your headphones so you can listen to the translation.

How can I connect with other attendees?

During the Summit, we will have designated times, marked on the agenda, for networking activities that will allow you to interact with other attendees. We will also activate the event on Connect+, the official IAAPA app, where you will have access to features to meet and connect with other attendees.

Do I have to wear my badge and wristband at all times?

Yes, it is necessary to wear your badge during the official Summit activities. During free time and for comfort during certain activities, you may temporarily remove your badge. You must wear your wristband at all times so we can identify you as part of the group.

What makes the 2026 Summit's educational program unique?

The 2026 Summit will be the first IAAPA event held aboard a cruise ship, combining strategic sessions, immersive experiences, EduTours, and VIP Tours in world-class destinations and operations. The program is designed to learn from real-world experience, connecting leadership, operations, innovation, and visitor experience.

What kind of educational content can I expect during the Summit?

The program includes: Strategic conferences with global industry leaders

Operational panels with the Royal Caribbean team Inspirational and leadership sessions EDUTours in destinations such as Perfect Day at CocoCay, Baha Mar, and Atlantis Paradise Island

VIP operational tours with limited access Interactive sessions focused on discussion and hands-on learning

All content is geared toward practical application for any type and size of parking facility or attraction in the region.

Is there an additional cost for the educational program?

No. All educational activities are included; however, many activities have limited capacity, so it is essential to register beforehand.

What are VIP Tours and do they have an extra cost?

VIP Tours are exclusive educational experiences focused on operations, behind-the-scenes aspects, and decision-making, with access to key areas and equipment. They are included at no additional cost, but spaces are extremely limited and no additional spaces will be opened once filled.

Who is the Summit's educational content for?

Are the sessions theoretical or practical?

The Summit's approach is practical and applied. Many sessions are complemented by site visits, real-world operational examples, case studies, and direct conversations with leaders and operational teams. The goal is for participants to be able to take concrete learnings back to their organizations.

What are EDUTours and how are they different from a regular tour?

EDUTours are educational tours specifically designed for the industry, led by leaders and operational teams, with a focus on operations, guest experience, safety, design, and management. They are not sightseeing tours, but rather structured learning experiences.
