Sustainability:

A Strategic Priority

IAAPA promotes sustainable practices among its members and throughout all its events. Sustainable Actions at El Dorado Park:

The park has a current Environmental Operating License, demonstrating its regulatory commitment.

It has agreements for the collection of organic and inorganic waste with a company that holds the necessary permits and operates a sorting and recycling plant.

Training for employees on proper waste management
and recycling, with the aim of integrating all departments that generate waste.

Its facilities utilize smart technology to protect the

planet. They feature occupancy sensors in faucets and

urinals, as well as motion-activated lighting, ensuring

that water and light are used only when needed, thus eliminating waste.

Actions implemented for the IAAPA Bootcamp: Implementation of an immediate bottle recycling station. A strategic collection point, with trash cans made of recyclable material, will be set up during
the event where attendees can deposit their empty bottles.

We will promote the use of IAAPA Connect+ to minimize the use of cards among attendees.

We will use recyclable badges.

We will incorporate Sustainability topics into
 our event.

We aim to reduce the event's environmental footprint by promoting more responsible transportation. We encourage attendees to consider carpooling.

Did you know that…

"Las Arenas del Viento" Lake is the blue lung of El Dorado Park? Its ecosystem of flora and fauna naturally filters the water, regulates species, and balances vital nutrients to maintain the area's biodiversity. The park regularly monitors water quality.
