A MESSAGE FROM THE COO: BUILDING SUCCESS TOGETHER

Larry S. Savvides, CCM, CCE, CAM Chief Operating Officer/General Manager As we move through the summer months, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the commitment, professionalism, and pride you bring to Hunters Run Country Club every day. While our pace may change with the seasons, our purpose remains the same, to provide an exceptional experience for our members and guests. That experience is only possible because of the dedication of every department and every team member. Whether you work directly with members or support our operations behind the scenes, your contributions matter and play an important role in our success. This time of year, also gives us an opportunity to prepare for what lies ahead. Across the Club, we're continuing to invest in our facilities, strengthen our teams, and look for ways to improve how we work together. Excellence is never achieved by standing still, it comes from a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve.

As we look forward to the upcoming season, I encourage each of us to focus on three simple commitments: • Take pride in your work. Every task, no matter how big or small, contributes to the experience our members remember. • Support one another. Great teams are built on trust, respect, and a willingness to help each other succeed. • L ook for opportunities to improve. Small ideas and daily improvements often have the greatest impact over time. I also want to thank you for the positive attitude and resilience you continue to demonstrate. Hospitality is about serving others, but it's also about supporting one another. When we work together with a shared purpose, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. On behalf of our leadership team, thank you for everything you do for Hunters Run. I look forward to building on our momentum and creating another outstanding season together. Have a safe and enjoyable summer, and thank you for being an important part of the Hunters Run family.

TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT CONTINUED HENRY ELUETT JR - GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE 1. What does being part of the Hunters Run team mean to you? It means being part of an organization that’s progressive and intentional about progression. From the time I’ve joined this team there has always been a focus on making the club one of the best Country Clubs in south Florida. 2. What inspired you to join Hunters Run? All the changes and progress that I saw happening via LinkedIn. As an Equipment Manager, it was always my passion to be part of something as it grew and transformed into something great. 3.What do you love most about your current position at the club? Being able to provide all the equipment solutions for Golf Course Maintenance, from ensuring that reels are sharpened to maintain high quality of cuts, to making sure all of our utility vehicles are maintained and operating in a safe manor, being able to engage with so many different personalities on a daily basis are some of the things that I love most about my current position at the club. 4. Who has had a positive impact on your journey here? I have to say that Larry and Jennifer have had the most positive impact on my journey here at Hunters Run. The way that they have supported me since I joined the team is something that I haven’t experienced in my career. Having the vision combined with consistent support makes completing even the most challenging of tasks feel less intimidating and more attainable. 5. What is something you are proud about in your role here? The opportunity to train and share my knowledge and experience with the guys who work with me in the shop. We constantly make new and innovative changes regularly that help to improve our repair efficiency. 6. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I enjoy doing photography, music production, and working out at my gym. 7.What Music do you like to listen to? Being a musician, I tend to listen to various types of music. I enjoy Jazz, Gospel/Christian, and R&B mostly but on my gym days I find myself listening to something a little more upbeat. 8.Where were you born? Where did you grow up? I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL 9.If you would work in another department for a day, where would it be? Human Resources. I enjoy interacting with people 10.What makes you feel appreciated at work? A simple thank you with a smile from any of our Golf Maintenance Team members 11. What accomplishment are you the proudest of? Starting my audio/visual company back in 2014 would be one of the things that I’m most proud of. After being involved at some compacity as a creative my whole life it was a huge milestone for me. 12. What advice would you give to a new team member? Focus on doing your job or whatever you’re assigned to do at a high level on a consistent basis. Allow the result of your quality of work to speak for you. 13.Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know. I’ve been a musician since the age of 12 playing piano and keyboard. And I play regularly at various churches in the South Florida area. 14.Any additional thoughts? My experience since joining the team at Hunters Run has been exceptional and I’m looking forward to the future.

July is a time when many of us are enjoying the summer, spending time with family and friends, and creating memories outside of work. It's also a great reminder that the moments we create for others, both here at Hunters Run and at home, matter more than we often realize. Every day, our members choose Hunters Run because of the experience we provide. That experience isn't created by one department or one individual. It takes all of us working together. Whether you're greeting members at the front gate, preparing a meal in the kitchen, maintaining our beautiful grounds, serving in one of our restaurants, supporting behind the scenes, or helping a fellow team member, your work makes a difference.

As we continue through the summer, let's challenge ourselves to look for opportunities to brighten someone's day. Offer encouragement to a coworker. Say thank you. Lend a hand when someone is busy. Celebrate each other's successes. Small acts of kindness create a workplace where people feel valued, respected, and proud to be part of the Hunters Run family. Thank you for everything you do each day. Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence are what make Hunters Run such a special place to work and serve our members.
