The NSW State election is on Saturday, 25 March 2023. Ahead of the poll, some electorate boundaries, including those for Wallsend, Charlestown and Newcastle electorates have been changed. Each of the three electorates which The Local’s readership straddles have been redrawn. To vote in person on election day you can visit a voting centre between 8am and 6pm on 25 March. If unable to vote in person on the day, you can vote at an early voting centre from Saturday 18 to Friday 24 March. You can also vote by post, if eligible. If you are blind or have low vision,
