INTRODUCTION Orphaned children are one of the most, if not the most, vulnerable populations on this planet. The trauma and loss that they endure is insurmountable and life-altering.

According to UNICEF, a child becomes an orphan every 22 seconds. There are over 5,000 new orphans every day. Who will care for the millions of children who have no one to care for them? It is our collective responsibility to rescue these children from a life of suffering and exploitation. This report reflects the progress we’ve made in supporting orphaned children worldwide with the resources, care, and, most importantly, the love they deserve.

Your generosity has provided food, shelter, and education to these vulnerable children, offering them a sense of belonging, hope, and a brighter future. Your contributions have enabled us to expand our programs, reaching hundreds of orphans globally. CARING FOR ORPHANS OF WAR Donor support has enabled us to care for 25 orphans in Gaza, many of whom suffer from severe PTSD, for a year and provide financial support to ensure they continue their education. This includes children who’ve been orphaned by recent attacks.

ANALYSIS AND IMPACT Our goal is to provide more than emergency relief to these children. Beyond ensuring their safety, we’re providing support that will impact their mental and physical health over the long term. By providing cash support to their guardian or remaining family to ensure their education, this initiative is also helping to ensure that these children are on a path to a brighter future.

SUPPORTING ORPHANS OF DISASTER Last year, Pakistan was devastated by the worst flooding in the country’s history. Millions were impacted, hundreds of thousands were displaced, and many children were left without a home and without parents. They’ve suffered in ways we can’t even imagine. Thanks to donor support, we were able to rescue 110 children and provide them with essential care.

ANALYSIS AND IMPACT It’s almost impossible to comprehend the terror and devastation experienced by a child who has been robbed of their parents; their central support system. Caring for these 110 precious children not only helps provide stability and hope for their future, it safeguards them from exploitation and abuse that they will almost certainly fall victim to. These orphans now have a real chance to survive and thrive, thanks to your support.

NOURISHING CHILDREN’S GROWTH Students from food-insecure households are more likely to score low grades, have low intellectual stimulation, have poor physical growth, and suffer from conditions such as obesity and anxiety disorders. We launched an initiative to create food security for hundreds of families in Pakistan and ensure their children have the nutrition they need to grow and thrive in school.

INCREASING FOOD SECURITY AND SCHOOL ATTENDANCE FOR 175 CHILDREN Provided 40 kgs of flour (feeds a family of 7 for a month) to 200 households

ANALYSIS AND IMPACT In Pakistan, flour is considered a staple food that families use every day, and rising inflation is making it less accessible for low-income families. Being able to provide a month’s supply of this essential nutrition has a massive impact on the whole family, particularly the children. Proper nutrition improves children’s mental and physical health, giving them a greater ability to attend school, stay focused, and grow the skills and abilities they need to live a healthy, capable life.

HUMANITI REMAINS COMMITTED With over 150 million orphaned children in the world, it’s easy to feel helpless. How can we make a difference when so many children are suffering? If a problem seems too big to solve, then that’s the problem we’re going to focus on solving. By collaborating with individuals and organizations that share our goals, we can make a historical impact on the reality of orphaned children. This report highlights recently completed projects and initiatives in progress, but we’re also laying plans for the months and years to come.
