Humanculture is dedicated to the li e, land, and culture o A rican and Indi enous peoples, par those in remote societies. We support communities that are o ten excluded rom lobal visib resource access, while workin to stren then how their knowled e, practices, and cultural sustained and represented more broadly. Guided by local leaders and rounded in traditional va work is community-led and rooted in the structures, relationships, and knowled e systems that operate within these environments.

Across the Global South, Humanculture works to expand access to education, ood, sa e wate , services, and economic opportunity, while also supportin cultural continuity and representation. Our work includes humanitarian initiatives that improve daily conditions and stren then access to basic ri hts, alon side cultural and knowled e-based work that supports the continuation, protection, and visibility o A rican and Indi enous practices, art, and ways o li e. In 2024, Humanculture presented The Untold Story, an exhibition that brou ht Indi enous and A rican cultural work into a public, institutional settin throu h a curated presentation at the Oculus at the World Trade Center in New York. The exhibition eatured work rom communities Humanculture en a es with, includin Maasai beadwork and other traditional practices, positionin them within a contemporary exhibition context. Developed throu h direct relationships, the exhibition blemded contemporary and community-based cultural work into a ormat accessible to a broader public audience, extendin visibility while maintainin connection to the communities, people and practices which the work represents.
