Our long-term initiative to explore a more circular era of safety footwear – rethinking how it’s built, what it’s made from, and how it’s recycled. These are our first steps.

Circular Performance Chassis™ Our modular sole unit that’s designed to deliver work performance and more efficient recycling. It’s built from TPU-based Circuit Components molded together through Supercritical Foaming, creating a monomaterial sole unit without any adhesives. When it’s worn out, we’re set up to take it back and reuse the TPU in next-gen Circular Performance Chassis™ through our recycling system.

Cushioned and comfortable shoe for endless hours of walking while reducing pressure from the complete ETPU midsole. The ultra light upper made with MATRYX® provides an amazing feeling in terms of fitting together with the BOA® Fit System. The textile is uniquely weaved for Vent 2, and the density of the weave varies on different parts of the shoe to optimize zones for ventilation, flex and durability with less lining. MATRYX® is also partly dope dyed, meaning significantly lower environmental impact compared to traditional textile. To provide optimal protection without sacrificing comfort and sustainability, Vent 2 uses the specially developed high rebound OrthoLite® insole. ESD

ESD protection ensures that static electricity is discharged. The shoes have a resistance ranging between 0,1 Mohm and 100 MOhm according to BS ISO IEC 61340-4-3:2018.

GORE-TEX

The GORE-TEX membrane is comprised of billions upon billions of small holes that are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water molecule. This lets water vapor escape but keeps water droplets out – making it fully windproof, waterproof, and at the same time breathable.
