Bachelor Admission Requirements English-taught Programmes Common Admission Requirements General remarks

– English level required (C1 standard; B2 for selected programmes)​ – Relevant full-time work experience required (normally 12 months; selected programmes: 9 – 12 months)​ – Work experience must be completed before starting the programme (or by the end of the first/second year, depending on the programme)

International Baccalaureate (IB)

– IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) recognised for admission – Admission based on overall IB score and subject profile – Required subject groups: 2 languages, Mathematics, 1 Sciences subject, 1 Humanities/Social Sciences, 1 elective – Programme-specific score thresholds may apply

Advanced level (GCE A-Levels)

– Minimum 3 A-Level examinations – Admission based on grades and subject profile – Programme-specific subject combinations may apply

Advanced Placement (APs)

– Minimum 3 or 4 AP examinations required – Admission based on AP subject profile – Programme-specific combinations may apply

Combination of International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP)

– Typically a minimum of 4 examinations in total (combined IB/AP) depending on the programme – Mathematics required for most programmes (level and subject combinations vary) – At least one AP Science subject is required in most programmes (with the stated minimum grade) – Remaining subjects may be chosen from AP or IB offerings depending on programme-specific requirements

General remarks​

– C1 exemption: International school > 2 years

– Min. requirements ensure eligibility, but strong grades and relevant subjects improve your chances – the overall profile matters, not just the numbers

– C1 exemption: International school > 2 years – Work experience before the 2nd year of study – * Business Engineering: German B2 at entry, C1 before the 2nd year of study

– B2 exemption: International school > 2 years – 9 – 12 months of of relevant work or voluntary practical experience – Admission possible «sur dossier» (provisional)

– You can start at B2 with a BM and complete C1 in your first year – Work experience (any organisational context) – Application essay + interview

≥ 30/42 points (without bonus points), ≥ 24 points​ incl. ≥ 3 higher level​subjects – Typical 30 – 38+ points – 2 subjects in different languages (first and second language) Language A (native language), classical languages (Latin and classical Greek), language ‘ab initio’ (foreign language without prior knowledge), Language B (foreign language with prior knowledge) – 1 subject in mathematics: Standard level (SL) or high level (HL) (grade ≥ 5) – 1 subject in STEM Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Design Technology or Environmental and Social Systems – 1 subject in humanities and social sciences Business Studies, Digital Society, Economics, Geography, Global Politics, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, World Religions, Environmental and Social Systems – 1 subject freely selectable from the IB DP catalogue or the three groups above

– Recognised when the combined qualifications provide university-entry eligibility in the home country

Min. 2 IB Diploma Program (DP) must be passed with ≥ 5 at SL or HL; all CP core modules (personal and professional skills, service learning, language development, and reflective project (grade ≥ C), receive a merit grade or its equivalent in career-related study. Subject requirements: – Science: Computer Science, Design Technology or related subjects (grade ≥ 5) – English language subject in studies in language and literature group or language acquisition group (Language A or Language B) (SL ≥ 6 / HL ≥ 5) – Mathematics: Analysis and approaches or applications and interpretation (SL/HL) – The student must have chosen a careerrelated study track in e.g. Computer Science, IT, Interactive Design and Game Development, Graphic Design, Engineering, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Arts, Design and Media or Sustainability Studies, with ≥ Merit (or equivalent)
