GET YOUR EYES CHECKED TO PROTECT YOUR VISION Regular eye exams are an important part of finding eye diseases early. Some common eye diseases can go unnoticed for a long time, cause vision loss, and may not have any warning signs.
Eye exams are simple and painless! During an eye exam, you will get some eye drops to dilate (widen) your pupil. This is the only way to check for eye diseases early, when they are easier to treat and before they cause vision loss. If your eye doctor finds signs of eye disease, you can talk about treatment options and decide what’s right for you. Talk to your eye doctor to learn how often you need to get an exam. You may also call 510-770-8040 or 408-729-9700 to make an appointment for July 28, 9am-4pm for an initial eye screening on Bay Area Community Health’s mobile eye unit located at the AWC at South Fremont.
