SAFER ROADWAYS FOR ALL USERS Over the past decade, the City of Fremont has been redesigning its roadways to create safer, more balanced streets for everyone—especially the most vulnerable users, such as pedestrians, bicyclists, and seniors. These efforts focus on enhancing infrastructure for walking and biking while reducing vehicle speeds along key corridors.

Together, these improvements support safer mobility choices and greater independence for seniors and people of all ages.
