We are excited to celebrate our 13th anniversary in the September 2023 digital issue of HR Professionals Magazine. It is an honor to introduce you to Rose Ann Garza, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Director of Texas SHRM. Rose Ann proudly serves on the Texas SHRM Executive Council as the State Director serving over 21,000 SHRM members, 31 SHRM affiliate chapters, and 18 Student Chapters across Texas. The state of Texas is one of the three largest SHRM affiliates in the U.S. including California and Florida. Rose Ann also served her local SHRM chapter, Austin SHRM, as President, President Elect, Vice President of Programs, and co-founder of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee prior to joining the Texas SHRM Board.
