Our tale began in 2010 when our founder, Emily Jaksch, made the decision to quit her corporate HR position after 12 years of selling her soul to be the HR bitch.
Because of her recognition of a need in the market for SME's that wanted expert HR counsel but were unable to pay for an HR manager, HR Gurus was established. Her first objective was to improve HR's reputation because she had always thought the field had a poor reputation and she wanted to remedy that. Since then, HR Gurus has expanded, making us one of Australia's top suppliers of HR services to the SME sector.
