Elisia Education Hub proudly welcomed new residential students from Arkansas State University Querétaro and Texas State University Querétaro on January 8 for Spring 2026 Move-In Day, marking the start of an exciting new academic chapter. Throughout the day, families arrived on campus to support their students as they settled into their new home. The garden area in front of Residence Building C transformed into a vibrant and welcoming gathering space, where parents and students could connect, reflect, and enjoy the moment before embarking on this new stage. With music, ice cream, burgers, and an inviting outdoor atmosphere, the transition into campus life felt warm and celebratory. A dedicated lounge area for parents provided space to unwind, share conversations, and experience together the pride and emotion that accompany this milestone. Move-In Day was filled with meaningful moments — from first hugs in new dorm rooms to heartfelt goodbyes that symbolize growth, independence, and new beginnings. Campus mascots Howl and
Boko added energy and school spirit to the day, welcoming students with enthusiasm and reinforcing the sense of belonging that defines the Elisia Education Hub community. As we begin the Spring 2026 semester, we are excited to see our campus come alive once again. A new season of learning, connection, and opportunity has officially begun.

Low temperatures and strong wind gusts are currently affecting campus. Because Elisia Education Hub is located outside the city, open spaces and limited building coverage make wind exposure more intense. These conditions can increase the risk of colds, flu, and other seasonal illnesses if proper precautions are not taken.
Protecting yourself is essential. Covering your nose, mouth, and ears helps prevent airway irritation and protects against ear discomfort caused by cold wind. A scarf, balaclava, or even the hood of your jacket can make a significant difference and are easy to carry throughout the day.
Wearing multiple layers is strongly recommended, especially during early mornings and evenings. Instead of relying on one thick jacket, layering allows better temperature control and helps prevent sweating, which can
increase vulnerability to cold. A practical approach includes:
• An inner layer that absorbs moisture
• A middle layer that retains heat
• A weather-resistant outer layer that blocks wind Layering provides more effective protection than a single heavy garment.
Inside your residence, small adjustments can also make a difference. Closing windows at night helps maintain a comfortable temperature, especially during the coldest
hours before sunrise. Using appropriate bedding and warm covers supports better rest and prevents overnight body heat loss. Additionally, when leaving a warm indoor space, try to transition gradually instead of stepping directly into the cold air.
By taking these simple preventive measures, we can reduce the risk of seasonal illness and ensure a safer, healthier campus environment for everyone. Stay warm and take care of yourself.

On January 20, the Student Union came alive as students gathered for this semester’s Club Fair, an event designed to welcome new members and reconnect the community through shared interests and creativity.
Beginning at 11 a.m., more than 16 student-led clubs set up interactive stands, ready to introduce newcomers to the vibrant extracurricular life at Elisia Education Hub. From sports and arts to science, engineering, politics, environmental conservation, and faith-based communities, each club offered students the opportunity to find their place and pursue their passions beyond the classroom. Throughout the event, several clubs showcased their talents in live demonstrations. Moonlit Musicals delivered energetic musical numbers, Red Tunes filled the space with music, and the MMA Club engaged attendees with a friendly boxing match, bringing excitement and movement to the afternoon.
Athletics were strongly represented with clubs such as The Pong Pack, Cheer & Dance, Coyote Creek Outdoor Activities, Basketball Club, Tennis Club, and MMA. Creative expression also took center stage through Altitude Arts (aerial dance), Dance Wolves, The Voice, Red Tunes, and Moonlit Musicals. Students interested in global affairs connected with Model United Nations, while GENOMA STEM and FUBAR welcomed science and engineering enthusiasts. Grow promoted environmental awareness, and Koinonia Christian Club provided a space for faith-based connection. The event concluded at 2 p.m., but the energy and sense of belonging continued. With new members joining and friendships beginning to form, clubs resumed their regular activities, strengthening the dynamic, student-driven community that defines Elisia Education Hub.
Through initiatives like the Club Fair, campus life becomes more than participation—it becomes connection, growth, and shared purpose.
