City of Dorchester orders election for May 9
Howe Girl Scouts armed themselves with shovels and daffodils and helped keep Howe beautiful while also helping Keep Howe Beautiful (the organization)
The youngsters were seen at the Community Center and at the flashing light at Haning Street and the US 75 bridge by putting flowers out on each side

The girls will have a sense of pride in the spring when they bloom

Dorchester City Council has ordered an election for Saturday, May 9, 2015 to elect two aldermen and a mayor. Terms expiring are those held by Aldermen Stanley Stewart, Jimmie Aaron and Mayor David Smith. Any qualified Dorchester resident may file for office between Jan 28, 2015 through Feb 27, 2015 at City Hall at 373 Maint St, Dorchester, Texas.
