HOWE’S HAPPENINGS You know, sometimes in life there are things that, as Mr. Morris says, “just blow your socks off”. I am so overwhelmingly impressed, proud of, and just amazed by the town of Howe in this project with Mr. Harvey Morris. This week I sat down and got to know Mr. Morris in a conversation for over an hour and a half. In my assessment he is an honest, straight shooting, Godly and most of all humbled and thankful man. What an absolute delight it was getting to know him. He had so many wonderful things to say about so many people in the community, the help they have offered, and how the love and provision of God has been shown through the hands of our community. Letter from the Mayor to the Community Karla McDonald Positive Change Last week was monumental for the City of Howe. Big changes are coming to Howe! What might this look like you ask? Change may look like buildings, roads, bridges, and a few faces changing in time. As I reflect back on some of the announcements that were made last week, I

gredients had more nutritional value. Logically, I could understand; however, I did not want to think logically because, I wanted what I’d always known. I had an expectation of receiving what I was used to having. Why is this? Sometimes we find comfort in what is familiar and, we see change as dysfunctional. Or do we find comfort in dysfunction?
