1/25/2026 6:00 AM CST for Grayson County, TX. The timing for wintry precipitation appears to be between 8am-12pm on Friday. Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing at around 3pm on Friday. We will likely stay below freezing until around 12pm on Tuesday. Precipitation that falls will freeze making travel hazardous. (Continued on Page 9)

Ashley Husbands This week, the City Council conducted their monthly regular meeting at Summit Gardens.

Due to the forecasted storm, the Texoma Patriots’ Election Workshop has been moved to Saturday, January 31st from 10 a.m.2:30 p.m.. To celebrate the cold front, in the recipes section we have an easy and wonderful stovetop hot cocoa recipe, and a more complicated, but definitely worth it, cinnamon roll recipe. If stuck inside, you could also work on your chili recipe for the Band Chili Cookoff Competition later this month! Registration is still open, more information can be found in the Howe ISD Section. I didn’t see any rule specifications for if beans belonged in chili or not– I guess they’re leaving that debate alone.
