You’ll need to know the name(s) of the dual credit courses offered through Houston Christian. Also please use your Houston Christian email address when registering. How much do dual credit courses cost? Dual Credit courses cost $250 per class with a $50 fee for labs. This is paid directly to Colorado Christian University when you register. My student took the AP exam, do they have to take the course final exam? Yes. Students in a course that is both AP and Dual Credit, must fulfill both requirements of taking the AP exam as well as the course final exam. Does the dual credit final exam impact a student’s GPA at Houston Christian? Yes. The grade earned on the semester exam and the final exam are used to calculate the student’s final grade in the course which is used to calculate the student’s GPA. Will my dual credit courses transfer to other colleges and universities? Most colleges and universities accept dual credit courses from regionally accredited schools like CCU. However, transfer policies vary, so it is recommended that students contact their future college’s registrar office to confirm transferability. How do I request my CCU transcript? Students are responsible for ordering their transcripts to be sent to higher education institutions of interest.
