For over 30 years I have chosen a life of public service and, in turn, have earned the trust and respect of the community. In my continued effort to serve you, the citizens of Harris County, and continue the path already blazed, I embrace this opportunity to provide a vision of fairness and equal access in a manner that each citizen can look with pride. As a public servant I currently serve as Senior Assistant County Attorney for Harris County. I have also served as General Counsel for Texas Southern University and as an Administrative Law Judge and Assistant Attorney General IV for the State of Texas.

I have also had the pleasure of teaching future leaders at Lone Star and Houston Community College. Because I believe a public servant should also serve her community through community service, I have volunteered at all levels of my community. I have served, for example, as Precinct Chair for Precinct 228, board member for my civic club, Co-Chair for the Houston Bar Association’s Gender Fairness Committee and serve on the Houston Lawyer Referral Service Board, and have served as Senate District 13’s General Counsel and Chair of the Houston Police Advisory Board. And I have been honored by being awarded 2018 Top 50 Black Professionals and Entrepreneurs of Texas Award, the Houston Bar Association’s President Award and the Alex Award for Legal Excellence to name a few. To continue my public service to Harris County I am asking for your support in my quest to continue the path forward and ensure fairness, accessibility and justice for all by electing me Harris County JUDGE, 164th Civil Judicial District Court.
