GERRY WAYNE MONROE only made one public appearance in his life wearing his costume. His single appearance in costume as “THE 5-STAR GENERAL” came on the night of Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the HISD Board Meeting. However, he was planning to show up at the polls to drive out the vote for the upcoming 2023 City of Houston Mayoral Election, and was planning use his “SUPER HERO PERSONA” to run against Harris County Commissioner Ellis during the Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Presidential Election as the Republican nominee for the Harris County Republican Party. However, the 5-Star General passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
