Mayor Sylvester Turner is under the same sort of scrutiny that Mayor Patrick Wimberly was under before his indictment was handed down. The matter involving William Paul Thomas, the right-hand man of Mayor Sylvester Turner, who has already pled guilty to bribery is proof positive that Houston does not need to elect another Black mayor right behind Mayor Sylvester Turner.
