T he luxury market across New York and Connecticut remained strong in the second quarter of 2026, with rising sales, continued price appreciation and sustained buyer demand driving another impressive quarter.
Westchester County led the region, with luxury sales above $2 million climbing more than 16% and homes selling above asking price. Putnam and Dutchess Counties continued to attract buyers seeking lifestyle, space and long-term value, with homes sold over $1 million across both counties increasing 5%.
Greenwich also posted a strong quarter, with luxury sales above $3 million increasing 10% and days on market falling sharply, reflecting continued demand for premier properties. Across Fairfield County, communities including Darien, New Canaan and Rowayton recorded notable gains in luxury sales of 11%, 16% and 85% respectively.
While inventory improved in several luxury price segments, supply at the highest end of the market remains limited. Well-priced, exceptional homes continue to command significant interest, reinforcing the strength and resilience of the luxury market.
