AHF Presents the Annual Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival Starring
QUEEN LATIFAH
Saturday, March 21 at Fort Lauderdale Beach
The 2026 Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival will take place on Saturday, March 21, at South Beach Park, Fort Lauderdale Beach, featuring a 5K walk, headliner Queen Latifah, live music, and community activities. This is a community-powered event that raises funds for local HIV and AIDS service organizations across South Florida, supporting prevention, care, and vital support services. The 2026 edition marks a celebration of 20 years of impact, combining a 5K walk with a full day of music, entertainment, and community engagement.
Queen Latifah is a rapper, songwriter, and actress. Included among her awards are: a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two NAACP Image Awards. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for playing Mama Morton
in the feature musical Chicago. In 2006, she became the first hip-hop artist to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
I asked Russell Walker, Southern Bureau Deputy Chief about the walk and he said: “Having celebrated 20 years of local impact, AHF is thrilled of what’s in store for this year’s Florida AIDS Walk. As we go into this next chapter, attendees can anticipate more great entertainment, great fun as we come together to raise even more money for an important cause.”
The Walk starts at 10am, beginning and ending at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park parking lot and the route is North on A1A to Sebastian Street, west to Birch Road, north on Birch Road to Vistamar Street, then east back to A1A and return to the park. This is a 5K Walk: Approximately 3.1 miles, taking 1–2 hours to complete.
The music festival featuring live performances, DJs, drag shows, and concerts start around 8:45am, but the major acts start after the walk is over. There will also be food trucks and bars offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and a memory wall to honor those lost to HIV/AIDS, selfie spots, and tents from beneficiary organizations and sponsors
If you’re registered to walk, run, or fundraise for the 5K event, you have already secured your spot to attend the Music Festival. Simply stick around after the 5K and head over to the concert area. If you’d like to
simply fill out a brief form with your basic contact info, and for a $25 fee, you’re ready to go.
You can participate in many ways: walk, run, donate, or attend the music festival. There are also volunteering opportunities assisting with setup, registration, hydration stations, directional support, and cleanup. Attending or volunteering at the Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival is a meaningful way to support the community, enjoy live entertainment, and contribute to a vital cause.
You can also be a vendor. Vendors help bring the music festival to life. Become a part of Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival and showcase your brand to thousands of passionate attendees. Take advantage of this incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact while promoting your
Every dollar raised supports local AIDS service organizations, including the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, helping fund essential services and community programs. The event also serves to raise awareness, educate the community, and inspire collective action to combat HIV/AIDS in South Florida.
AHF partnered with FlockFest to bring you an official after-party later that afternoon—completely FREE for the first 300 Florida AIDS Walk participants. Just show your Florida AIDS Walk wristband at the door. The event is 21+ This Flockfest Splash Pool Party takes place at the Easton Rooftop Pool (721 N. Federal Highway) from 2 to

At what age did you begin performing?
I began performing at 5 years old. I was doing commercials, voiceovers and print campaigns. And then I started my theater journey at age 15.
What was your first professional gig?
It was a dog food commercial when I was 7 years old. It was a silly commercial where I had to lay on top of and play with a dog…that was
definitely a great time.
Hell's Kitchen has taken Broadway by storm, is there additional pressure touring in this show? I would say there is a lot of pressure but not to perform, but to constantly adhere to the scheduling. For example, traveling and keeping up our health.
How is it being on tour for the first time?
It's incredible and it's more than words can say as I am learning so much and expanding my world view, forming lifelong relationships, and I get to do what I love every single day I hope I get to inspire at least one person.
Other than this one, what has been your favorite role so far?
I am going to have to say, Mimi from Rent, as it was the first role I did in high school. I learned a lot about myself in that

role. That was the role that made me realize I want to pursue this professionally
What's your fantasy role (a role you haven't played but would die to play)?
Jennifer in Waitress. I am a little young right now, but she is an absolute dr and I am in love with Sarah Barellis. Describe yourself in 3 words?
Determined, vivacious, and brave. What do you do for fun?
I do a lot of things for fun, but I love hanging out with my friends and I am a huge gamer girl.
What should our readers expect from this touring company of “Hell's Kitchen”?
Many people have told me that this is a show that has so much energy that they haven't seen on stage since Hamilton. If you are a theater person, or if you love Alicia Leys, or if you want a good family night, or if you love high energy shows, this is a show for you. We are an extremely tight knit cast, and it shows on stage. The theme of this musical is one of a kind!

DADDY BRO
Brogan is the Dom of Your Kinky Dreams
By Michael Werth
Before he was headlining films on KinkMen like Make Daddy Proud, Brogan was a self-described “good Midwest boy” growing up in Minnesota. He was athletic, quiet, and far more likely to be found on a hockey rink than in front of a camera. He followed the rules, stuck to “the plan,” and even built a successful corporate sales career in New York City But when the pandemic upended his carefully mapped-out life, Brogan found himself at an unexpected crossroads. What began as a creative outlet—gogo dancing, stripping, and modeling on the side—quickly evolved into a bold reinvention. Launching his OnlyFans during lockdown meant embracing a path he couldn't walk back from, but it also opened the door to a thriving career in adult entertainment.
How did you discover the adult film world and what made you say, “ Yeah, this might actually be for me”?
I first discovered KinkMen and their Bound Gods videos when I was in college. Thank God my freshman roommate had a fiancé and was always at her apartment instead of our dorm room. I had endless hours to doom scroll and I found myself in some darker corners of the porn world, and something just felt right to me. I felt like I understood it.
Kink means different things to different people. How do you define it?
For me, it's that feeling of taboo Now, let's be honest, what someone with no experience in kink feels is taboo will probably be very different than what I feel is taboo today. But I don't think it's my place to tell someone, “Oh, no that's not kink. What you're doing isn't enough. You don't belong here.” That's definitely not what kink is about, and for me its ALL about exploring and finding your boundaries and trying new things, and maybe even pushing those boundaries to test out what happens when you push just a little further past “taboo.” It's having that feeling and then also being given permission to go further when you're ready for it.
What do you enjoy most about working in fetish films?
My scenes and my experiences with my scene partners are never the same. There's no set destination; there's no right or wrong way for the scene to play out. We communicate, we negotiate, we make a plan and then get to share in this really unique time together that
Brogan
hopefully we come out of feeling really incredible about.
Do you have a favorite KinkMen film?
I have two that are really special for me. Outside of performing, I have real-life dominantsubmissive relationships with Apollo FFates and Wyld Ryder, and I've gotten to bring those connections from my personal life into the Bound Gods dungeon and share that with the fans, and those both felt really special to me. I know that sounds actually sort of sweet and really nice, but personally, I also have a huge humiliation kink with my submissives, so getting to take our play and bring it to a larger platform and audience to show them off in that way really just intensifies those scenes for me.
people making some pretty extreme accusations about what an evil and abusive person I must be, and meanwhile, I'm sitting on my couch building Legos and watching Star Wars on a Friday night. Legos?
I'm really just a big nerd.
Building Legos and taking care of my plants are the things that really help me find peace in all the chaos of the world. I won't even say that I love working out and being at the gym. I don't.
What else do people get wrong about you?
Has exploring kink helped you learn anything unexpected about yourself or your boundaries?
As I've delved further into the kink community, it's really helped me work through some psycho-sexual hang ups I had been holding onto about my sex life. It's given me the freedom to enjoy a much wider field of options for my sexual pleasure. How important are communication and consent in kink?
I think the single most important thing that people need to know is that nothing in the kink and fetish world happens without consent, even in consensual non-consent role-play. I don't want to do any of this with someone who isn't enthusiastic about doing it with me. Communication and agreement are key, and if there isn't consent, then what you're talking about isn't kink anymore.
What's a misconception people often have about kink?
One thing that I really have a hard time with is that if you're into things like impact play, humiliation, or consensual nonconsent, that you must be a violent person, or get off on real world sexual violence, or something like that. I get a ton of DMs from
That I'm ONLY into really intense kink sex I've had a number of guys turn me down because they think I'm too intense For me, great connection makes great sex, even if it's not kinky sex And sometimes that great connection means something a little slower, gentler, romantic If the connection is there, then I'm always game
For the kink curious, what's your advice?
Don't be intimidated. Everything about this stuff seems intimidating, I totally get that. Even the guy with a full closet for his leather and latex and toys remembers what it felt like to dip his toe in for the first time. When you're observing from the outside, there's a lot of aggression and intensity, and it's totally understandable to think that's just how kink and fetish people are all the time. But there's a whole different side of all of this that is about community building and connection and welcoming people in. And if you can find any type of group to connect with and get involved with, online or in person, I think you will be so surprised at how welcoming people are.

Supersets: Double the Burn, Half the Time
s u p e r s e t s .
They're efficient, spicy, and guaranteed to leave your muscles trembling in the best way.
Let's break it down.
What Are Supersets?
A superset is when you perform two exercises back-to-back with little to no rest in between. You finish one move, jump straight into the next, then rest.
Example:
Squats - immediately into lunges. Chest press - immediately into rows.
Simple concept. Brutal execution.
Why
Supersets Work (aka Why They Hurt So Good)
From a science standpoint, supersets increase time under tension and elevate your heart rate, which means more muscle fatigue and more metabolic stress: two key drivers of muscle growth and fat loss.
From a real-life standpoint?
They keep you focused, eliminate gym scrolling, and make your workout feel productive instead of… social.
Supersets are especially clutch if:
-You're short on time
-You want to build muscle and burn fat simultaneously
-You're bored of traditional sets
-You like feeling alive again
They also spike your post-workout calorie burn thanks to excess post-exercise oxygen consumption. Translation: you're still burning calories while you're doing literally anything else.
How to Use Supersets Without Wrecking Yourself
Not all supersets are created equal. Choose your flavor wisely.
1. Same Muscle Group (Advanced & Spicy)
Example:
Bicep curls hammer curls
This torches the muscle and is great for hypertrophy, but it's not for beginners or heavy lifting days.
2. Opposing Muscle Groups (My Personal Favorite)
Example: Chest press rows
One muscle works while the other recovers. This lets you lift efficiently without sacrificing form.
3. Upper + Lower Body (Cardio Disguised as Strength)
Example: Deadlifts push-ups
Your heart rate jumps, your legs shake, and suddenly strength training feels… athletic.
Key rule: don't rush sloppy reps. Supersets are about intensity, not chaos. Control the movement, breathe, then earn your rest.
When to Add Supersets to Your Training
Supersets are perfect when:
- You're training during busy gym hours
- You're doing full-body or
upper/lower splits
- You want to increase intensity without adding weight
- You're in a fat-loss or conditioning phase
They're not ideal for:
- Max strength days
- Learning new lifts
- Rehab or recovery workouts
Think of supersets as a tool, not a lifestyle. Use them strategically and they'll deliver
Final Burn
Supersets are the fitness equivalent of multitasking done right. They push your limits, save your time, sculpt your body with purpose.
Less rest. work. Bet Train smar Move with intention, distractions just embr the burn, it means it's working.

All Broadway in Miami ticketholders have access to Arsht Plus, a series of interactive pre-performance experiences such as artist conversations, dance lessons, cooking demos, live music and family fun offered on select performances. For Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Arsht Plus takes place on opening night, March 17, beginning at 6:30pm.
Enter a world of splendor and romance, of eye-popping excess, of glitz, grandeur and glory! A world where Bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows and revel in electrifying enchantment. Pop the champagne and prepare for the spectacular Welcome to Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

“Spectacular!
Euphoric! In Moulin Rouge! The Musical, life is beautiful,” raves The New York Times.
“Moulin Rouge! The Musical is a fabulous new musical. The high begins the instant you walk into the theatre,” said the New York Post.
Entertainment Weekly concludes that “it's easy to believe that Moulin Rouge! The Musical could run for 50 years.”
It was a pleasure to sit down with Rhys Carr (They/Them) for this exclusive Hotspots interview
Baz Luhrmann's iconic film comes to life onstage, remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. Moulin Rouge! The Musical is a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and - above all - Love. Moulin Rouge! The Musical is more than a musical; it is a state of mind.
As in the film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical celebrates over 160 years of music – from Offenbach to Lady Gaga. The stage musical features many of the iconic songs from the movie and also includes recent hits released since the movie premiered 21 years ago
Moulin Rouge! The Musical opened to critical acclaim at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in the summer of
At what age did you begin performing?
I started performing in 4th grade with my first musical, it was “101 Dalmatians.” That same year I did “ Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” in local theater and then I did shows for 6 or 7 years after

that.
What was your first professional gig?
My first was through Clear Space Theater in Rehobeth Beach Delaware, and I was in “Jessus Christ Superstar,” “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Kinky Boots,” where I played Lola.
Moulin Rouge has taken Broadway by storm, is there additional pressure touring in this show?
I don't think so. What I will say is that we are different performers from different backgrounds and that's what's beautiful about it.
This is your national tour debut, how exciting is it for you?
It's really been wild. I have been with the tour about a year and a half now, and it's been surreal. This, by far, is the longest I have been away from home, but what has been really gratifying is that I feel like I have matured a lot on this tour
Other than this one, what has been your favorite role so far?
A few of my favorites were Lola in Kinky Boots, The Leading Player in Pippin, and Anatole in Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812.
What's your fantasy role (a role you haven't played but would die to play)?
I would love to play many of the roles in Hadestown. Also, Audrey 2 in Little Shop of
Horrors.
You are part of the LGBTQ+ community, are you single or married?
Single
What are you looking for in the perfect partner?
Someone who is not perfect, as I am not perfect. I love a sense of humor, a sense of empathy, and someone who can enjoy what I think is funny. Also, you must smell good!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Effervescent, confident and soft.
What do you do for fun?
Its kind of hard on tour, but I have gotten into outdoorsy activities; including tubing, and hiking. I also have gotten into cooking a lot more. I also knit and I am learning how to crochet.
What should our readers expect from this touring company of “Moulin Rouge”?
I say expect to know a bunch of songs in the show, and there is a sing a long part at the end. Be prepared for a lot of stage magic and a lot of lights and a lot of sound. There are some incredible voices and dancing in this show Also expect a lot of confetti, and the most beautiful costumes (the show won the TONY for Costuming). Be prepared for an amazing experience as it really is a treat for anyone to come and see it.

Tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical are $52-$198 and may be purchased now at ArshtCenter.org or at the Arsht box office by calling (305) 949-6722.

'Beam Me Up, S ulu' no longer lost in space
As Sulu on the original 1960s TV series “Star Trek,” George Takei, along with Black co-star Nichelle Nichols, broke ground in an almost entirely white TV casting landscape. Later in life when Takei came out as gay, his character was viewed through a new queer lens, adding more depth to the “Star Trek” commitment to a peacefully diverse vision of the future. Now, a documentary, “Beam Me
Up, Sulu,” from filmmakers Timour Gregory and Sasha Schneider, explores the meaning of the show through newly discovered footage of the once-lost '80s fan-made project that actually co-starred Takei. In this mix comes new participation from Takei, as well as interviews with Eugene Roddenberry (creator Gene Roddenberry' s son), Alexander Siddig (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”), Christina Chong (“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”), Garrett Wang (“Star Trek: Voyager”) and Ian Alexander (“Star Trek: Discovery”). Queer devotion to the legendary Takei begins when the film drops on streaming platforms.
'Slo Pitch' scores lesbian softball rivalr y Crave, the Canadian streaming service that gave the world “Heated Rivalry,”
has a new series coming soon for queer sports fanatics. It's called “Slo Pitch” and it' s exactly what the name implies: a comedy about a lesbian softball beer league and one chaotic, queer, underdog team, served mockumentarystyle. Leading the ensemble are “Schitt's Creek” alum Emily Hamphire and “Frasier” co-star Jess Salgueiro, with a little extra help from a very ifyou-know-you-know participant: Ayami Sato, the first woman to play in a Canadian men' s pro baseball league. The 10-episode series is due to drop in Canada first, of course, but in the tradition of Crave's other original series “Letterkenny,” “Shoresy,” and of course the gay hockey show, it seems safe to assume that the U.S. will get a home plate seat to the series soon enough.
You want more Francois Arnaud, you get more
Francois Arnaud
He was a working actor before “Heated Rivalry,” but Francois Arnaud — kisser of Kip The Barista, for those who haven't memorized the show's cast names yet — is about to be a lot more employed. His IMDb page shows several upcoming projects — including the wild comedy “Fucktoys” that' s
currently shaking up the film festival circuit — but the most hockey-adjacent (because Canada, y 'all) would be the forthcoming heist comedy, “Keeper of The Cup.” An on-again-offagain project from fellow Canadian Jason Priestley (“Beverly Hills, 90210”) that's now on-again, it' s a road movie about superfans who decide to steal the Stanley Cup for their favorite losing team. The movie co-stars William Shatner (who knows a thing or two about extreme fandoms) and “SNL” pioneer Dan Aykroyd, but queer fans will want to see it for Arnaud when it finally sees the light of day.
fall, hitting all the usual major cities and maybe some unusual ones, too And if you don't pay attention to theater, it's about Mary Todd Lincoln, which is where the commitment to real life history ends. In Escola' s vision, Mrs. Lincoln is a deranged alcoholic who wants to be famous in cabaret. Along with Escola, a host of stars have stepped into the role for its Broadway run, among them Jane Krakowski, Tituss Burgess and Jinkx Monsoon. As for tour casting, right now it' s anyone ' s guess, and may well be an opportunity for even more big names to sweat under the Mary wig. We'll all find out together Meanwhile, get your most obsessive ticket-scoring friends on their marks for the drop They'll go fast.

How long have you and Teresa been married/together, and what makes Teresa the perfect woman for you?
We have been together 10 years and married 8 years. Teresa is perfect for me as she puts up with all my crap. When we met, I was trying to stay away from all the hot Cubans, but then she came over and changed more than my last name.
What’s your perfect date with Teresa?

What’s the secret to a healthy Lesbian Relationship?
I don’t know what the secret is for other relationships, but I honestly believe that our marriage is so happy because we are both so busy, so that when we do see each other its always a honeymoon. What do you do for fun?
I thrift and hang out with gay boys Tell us about Fay’s Fur Family?
It’s a pet boarding service where we offer family style boarding at our home. The company just celebrated 10 years. It started as a rescue service and to this day a portion of the proceeds goes to rescuing pets in need. The business started when I first got sober because I thought I would never open a mic again, but the universe had other plans.
What does Women’s History Month mean to you?
reminder that visibility matters, especially for the women in our community who fight daily to
be seen and heard and respected in every space they walk into. What advice do you have for other women?
