In 2010, Beachclub O. opened as a year-round or permanent beach pavilion, a beautiful successor to the seasonal Palm Plaza. It became a place where luxury, tasteful dishes, and warm hospitality come together.

For over a decade, the dedicated team at Beachclub O. has been committed to creating a unique and welcoming environment. Thanks to our flexible spaces the Barzaal, Serre, and Strandzaal you can designate one room as a plenary hall and use the other two as breakout rooms. The seaside terraces and the adjacent Brasserie terrace can also be reserved, guaranteeing exclusive use of the beach club. Larger-scale meetings often require specialized audiovisual expertise. In collaboration with our technical partner, we provide a professional AV plan and ensure this aspect of your event is flawlessly managed.

When you’re looking for a dinner but prefer a more informal setting than a sit-down meal, a walking dinner is an excellent alternative. For groups of 30 or more, we create a dynamic setting (which can also be a mix of standing and seated) where guests can move freely through the space. A walking dinner is ideal for networking events or as a prelude to an evening party.

The various small dishes are culinary experiences and a feast for the eyes. All items are served on trendy tableware and are designed to be easily eaten while standing; you may find a small glass, amuse-bouche spoon, or stylish skewer with a mouthwatering bite passing by.

A walking dinner is available from €69 per person. Prices for individual dishes are per guest, and we recommend creating a menu with at least six dishes.

For a unique experience, we offer Live Stations as a complement to your walking dinner or Green Egg Barbecue buffet. Our chefs create a special evening that you and your guests will never forget. Together with our Event Sales Manager, you can customize a menu to your liking. Watch in awe as stunning dishes are prepared in spectacular ways at the Live Stations.

All Live Stations are based on a minimum of 100 guests. For groups smaller than 100, additional costs are €75 per hour, per chef, per live station.

Beachclub O. does not have its own parking facilities. However, parking is available along the boulevard, just a short walk from the beach club. In addition, the public parking area Wantveld (Wantveld 2, 2202 NS, Noordwijk aan Zee) is located approximately a five-minute walk away. Guests can park there independently, subject to availability. Parking fees must be paid directly at the parking meter or via an app such as Parkmobile.

As parking in Noordwijk can be challenging during summer days and weekends, we offer a convenient alternative in collaboration with Koninklijke Beuk. Guests can park at their parking facility, located on the outskirts of Noordwijk upon entering the town. From there, a shuttle service will provide transfers to and from Beachclub O.

ACCESSIBILITY

Noordwijk is centrally located between Amsterdam, Den Haag, and Leiden. Situated directly by the sea and in the heart of the Bollenstreek, Noordwijk is a versatile seaside resort with international appeal just a 20-minute drive from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Venue Information

Beachclub O. is easily accessible by both car and public transport. A two-minute walk away, you will find the Vuurtorenplein bus stop, where several buses depart to various train stations in the region. Beachclub O. can be divided into three separate spaces: the Bar Area, Conservatory, and Beach Hall. Thanks to flexible partition walls, the spaces can be separated within seconds or combined into one large area. The beach club also features three terraces: Seaside Terrace 1, Seaside Terrace 2, and the Brasserie Terrace. Seaside Terraces 1 and 2 can be directly connected to the Beach Hall and Bar Area respectively.

It is possible to exclusively reserve one or more sections of the beach club. Did you know it is even possible to exclusively book the entire beach club, including all terraces? We would be happy to inform you about the possibilities.

BEACH USAGE

Beachclub O. leases an operational area of over 6,000 m² on the beach of Noordwijk. In addition to the existing beach club building and terraces, part of the beach is used for the rental of sunbeds and cabanas. For activity programs and sports clinics, the operational area may be used subject to availability.

PERMITS & EXEMPTIONS

Beachclub O. closes at 00:00 (midnight). The Municipality of Noordwijk grants an exemption to extend closing time to 01:00 on up to eight occasions per year. This must be requested at least 8 weeks prior to the event. The cost is €250 per permit.

When using the operational beach area outside the existing building to place a tent or pavilion, a permit is required. This must also be requested at least 8 weeks in advance. The cost is €250 per permit.

The beach can also be used for various events and activities. For this, permission and in most cases a permit from the Municipality of Noordwijk is required. After receiving approval to use Beachclub O.’s operational area, the organizer is responsible for applying for the necessary permit.

PUBLIC RESTROOMS

The restrooms at Beachclub O. are accessible to all guests. When exclusively renting the Bar Area, Conservatory, and Beach Hall, the restrooms are not automatically reserved exclusively, as terrace and beach guests may also access them via a separate entrance on the north side of the building. If exclusive use of the restroom facilities is required, a mobile restroom unit must be arranged for other guests. The costs of this are the responsibility of the organizer.

ALLERGIES & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

We are pleased to offer a flagpole free of charge for flags measuring strictly 2 x 3 meters and banners measuring strictly 1.5 x 4.5 meters. Multiple flagpoles are available in the Dune Garden and around Beachclub O.

AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT

Beachclub O. is equipped with a professional, venue-wide sound system suitable for background music, speeches, presentations, and parties.

Use of the DJ booth is available at €350 per session, including: 2x Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000 NXS2 media players

1x Pioneer DJ DJM-900 NXS2 mixer

These systems are connected to the in-house sound system. Use of the DJ booth is permitted only for experienced DJs. Any damage caused will be charged to the client.

Until 22:00, the maximum permitted sound level is 75 dB to prevent disturbance to other guests. This restriction does not apply when the entire venue is exclusively rented.

After 22:00, or in case of full exclusive hire, Beachclub O. reserves the right to reduce the volume of performers if it exceeds the legally permitted 85 dB, in order to protect staff.

If an extended closing time exemption applies, the sound level must be reduced to 75 dB after 00:00, and doors and walls must remain closed to prevent disturbance. Outdoor speakers will also be turned off.

If additional audiovisual equipment is required by you or your booked entertainment, we are happy to assist via our preferred supplier. Please share your requirements, preferably including the full technical rider of the artist.

The existing lighting plan can be adjusted per room. The ambient lighting includes various preset scenes, which cannot be modified or controlled during the event.
