About HOST HOST is a digital technology super hub operated by IN4 Group based in MediaCity Salford, that provides a unique environment for businesses to learn, grow and succeed. Monday (Virtual)
FreelanceHER 100 Weekly Rhythm Over 2-4 hours per week, you will further your business through a community of entrepreneurs, benefitting from mentorship and supporting personal development.
Weekly workshops on topics relevant to the female entrepreneur, delivered via zoom. Workshops are one-hour long, delivered twice over the course of the day at 9am and 12pm to provide you with an option of which session fits better in your calendar.

During FreelanceHER 100, you will be expected to take part in the weekly schedule outlined here:

How to prepare for FreelanceHER 100 Before starting FreelanceHER 100, please ensure you have completed the following:

2 Set up your MyHOST account (details included in this pack) and set up your profile.
3 Complete the onboarding form shared with you in your welcome email – the more information you can provide, the better! - and book in for your induction call with a member of the HOST team. An invite to the virtual welcome event on 1st March will drop into your calendar - be sure to accept it so we know who is attending!

Sign up to our in-person Launch Social on 8th March, where we will be bringing together past and present FreelanceHER entrepreneurs to celebrate International Women’s Day!
5 Review the FreelanceHER 100 Code of Conduct ahead of the first check-in session of the programme. This is a simple document (in this pack and on MyHOST) that will outline the rules and expectations of you, as a participating business, and any repercussions/disciplinary outcomes of displaying negative behaviours such as counterproductive, abusive and criminal.

Code of Conduct
At HOST, we strive to foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable and able to achieve. As a result, we expect behaviours outlined below to not pose an issue, nevertheless we want to explicitly mention these to ensure that we have a shared understanding of unacceptable behaviour. If on any occasion you are made to feel uncomfortable however big or small it may seem - you are always encouraged to inform our team. HOST is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, colour, national origin, age, disability (physical or mental), genetic information (including pregnancy and sexual orientation involving transgender status/gender identity, and sexstereotyping), parental status, marital status, and political affiliation as well as gender expression, mental illness, socioeconomic status or background, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, computing experience, or clothing. Consider that calling attention to differences can feel alienating. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment in any form. Discrimination is unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people. Harassment is unwanted and unwelcome words, deeds,
actions, gestures, or behaviours that make someone feel uncomfortable. The following conduct may constitute discrimination or harassment, including for observers: •

or suggestive, insulting or obscene comments or gestures Persistent unwelcome flirtations or unwelcome physical contact, including continuing to express personal interest after such interest has not been reciprocated Demanding or suggesting inappropriate behaviour in exchange for favourable reviews, assignments, promotions, or continued engagement Retaliation for reporting or threatening to report harassment Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour
Harassment does not need to be recognized as unwanted or unwelcome by anyone other than the person being harassed. Likewise, sexual harassment does not need to be motivated by sexual desire to violate this policy. Be careful in the words that you choose. Remember that sexist, racist, and other exclusionary jokes can be offensive to those around you. Offensive jokes are not appropriate and will not be tolerated under any circumstance.
Enforcement
Should your behaviour be deemed as unwelcome or harassing, immediate compliance as per this Code of Conduct is required. If a cohort member engages in harassing or exclusionary behaviour, we will take action to ensure FreelanceHER 100 is a welcoming environment for everyone. Any cohort member violating these rules can be removed from the programme. We expect cohort members to follow these rules in the virtual spaces we conduct the programme in addition to when physically attending sessions at HOST Salford and at all programme venues. We, of course, recommend people to follow these rules outside programme activities too.
Break-off clause
The combined programme value of the FreelanceHER 100 experience is a considerable investment. Should you know of any reason at this time you will be unable to complete this programme, you are obligated to let a member of the HOST team know. This could include but is not limited to an outstanding application to university, training or further education facility, or signification planned break during the programme delivery timeline.
Reporting
If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible. There is no issue too small to report. Harassment and other Code of Conduct violations reduce the value of FreelanceHER 100 for everyone. We want you to be happy here.
Memberships HOST offers various options to become part of our community, with our memberships tailored to the specific needs of individual founders and innovators. As a member of FreelanceHER 100 you are entitled to a HOST Alumni Membership at HOST for three months. This membership is perfect for growing teams working remotely.

Working from HOST As a FreelanceHER and HOST Alumni member, you can work from HOST Space - our co-working space on the 6th floor, taking full advantage of embedding yourself within our innovative and inclusive community. You can also use our events space on the 7th floor which is called HOST Social. At HOST Social, you can meet with partners and clients or rent rooms for events and presentations.
HOST reserves the right to charge £10 for the replacement of lost cards. Lost or stolen cards should be reported to HOST at the earliest opportunity, otherwise, the security of the building is compromised.
Door entry cards You will be allocated access cards to HOST for staff. Please, email Access for Alumni members is requirements to our Hub Team. within business hours for our co-working floor, and therefore between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.

How to get here Public transport MediaCity is served by the Metrolink system, with stations at Broadway and MediaCity linking to Manchester City Centre and beyond. The site is also served by buses.

How do I book a desk?
Yes! Wi-fi is included in your membership package. On your first day, you and your team members will be given access.
You can easily book a desk through the MyHOST app.
Can guests visit?
What times can I access the workspace?
Yes! Guests may visit the Property for pre-arranged meetings. Additional Day Passes must be purchased by any guests that wish to use the Co-Creation space facilities, other than for pre-arranged meetings. Where can I park? There are a number of parking options near to HOST Salford. The closest is MediaCity Multi-Storey Car Park, Salford, M50 2TG
HOST Salford is open 24/7 for all members. When does FreelanceHER 100 take place? FreelanceHER 100 will run between 1st March and 20th May.
