Credit for Prior Learning Helps Students’ Matriculate and Graduate To facilitate college matriculation and expedite a student’s time to graduation, CEWD institutionalized credit for prior learning to support both CEWD alumni and Hostos degree students. Since August 2023, eighty-one (81) Hostos degree students have received college credits through credit for prior learning (CPL). Seventeen (17) of those students received CPL via existing CEWD/OAA credit articulation agreements. Since 2014, 154 Hostos degree students have received college credits via CPL.
