Diagnosis: Naviculocuneiform Joint Osteoarthritis with Communication Between the Joint and the Tibialis Anterior Tendon Bursa Synovial bursae are synovium-lined sacs present in many locations within the body, helping to mitigate friction between bones and soft tissues. The tibialis anterior tendon bursa is located deep to the extrasynovial part of the tendon, overlying the naviculocuneiform joint and medial cuneiform. When a bursa is adjacent to a joint, there may be communication between the two, as incidentally seen in this case.
