6 outlets available Visar Europe manufactures an electronic carrot sorter that can sort ANY batch of carrots with maximum consistency and efficiency. 100% automatic, this machine does not require any manual work whatsoever, thereby optimising the yield.
360 degrees Thanks to the mirror system and powerful circular lighting, each carrot undergoes a thorough 360° analysis at a rate up to 15 carrots per second! This is the only reliable way to detect any defect, as well as to grade and weigh the carrots with great precision, down to half a millimetre and to the nearest gram. Compressed air ejection A nozzle system blows the carrots towards the various outlets allocated with great precision. The carrots fall on soft materials, which ensure a smooth landing.

Sorting subjectivity thanks to artificial intelligence One of the strengths of the software is the sorting severity setting. The principle relies on artificial intelligence to assess the quality, shape, and appearance of each carrot.

This is the only system that replicates human judgement whilst adding consistency. Combined with other measurable criteria (green collar area, white tip length, stem length), this setting allows the stable fine-tuning of the sorting severity. This way, you can easily select 3 quality levels in addition to the waste.
