TERMS & CONDITIONS Terms of sale are cash or check, payable upon conclusion of sale and before animals are removed. Each animal will be at the buyers’ risk as soon as it is sold, but will be cared for by the seller, as long as arrangements are made to do so. Every precaution will be taken for the well-being of all animals sold. All bulls not picked up on the day of the sale are eligible to stay until April 1, 2026 at no cost. Buyers assume full responsibility of the bulls on sale day. Insurance will be available at the settlement desk. Buyers that do not pick up bulls on sale day are urged to purchase insurance on all animals.
HERD HEALTH All sale animals will have proper health certificates for shipment out of state. Bulls will be scrotal measured, semen tested, vaccinated and dewormed. All veterinary work will be completed by Oregon Trail Veterinary Clinic in Hermiston, OR.
RETAINED INTEREST Cabral Livestock and/or Kyle Fields Angus will retain 1/3 semen interest on all bulls selling unless stated otherwise. Buyers receive full possession and full salvage value on all bulls.
ONLINE BIDDING The sale will be broadcast live on www.CCI.live with the lot videos available to view prior to the sale. Visit www.CCI.live and register to bid at least 24 hours prior to the auction.
REGISTRATION & TRANSFER Cattle registration certificates will be transferred to Buyers upon request, at the Seller’s expense.
INSPECTION OF ANIMALS All cattle will be at the Sale Location on the day of the sale and are available for inspection at their respective ranches anytime prior to Sale Day with prior arrangements. Animals will not enter the Sale Arena.
INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES All International Purchases are welcome. International Buyers are responsible for all extra health test expenses. All animals sell for the purchase price in U.S. Funds.
DELIVERY Free delivery within 300 miles. Bulls selling for $10,000 or more will be delivered to central points in the continental U.S. at no charge, and to Canadian Ports of Entry. All other animals will be delivered at cost. If you need expedited delivery, please contact us as quickly as possible. All animals must be picked up by April 1st or will incur a $5/day feed charge.
FIRST YEAR BREEDING GUARANTEE
In addition to the standard Terms and Conditions of the appropriate Breed Associations, we provide the first breeding season (90-day period following turn out) guarantee on all bulls. This is not an insurance or mortality policy, but a functional fertility guarantee. Buyer assumes all responsibility for management decisions outside of genetic control. This guarantee is not a substitute or replacement for poor management. To take advantage of this guarantee, please contact us as soon as possible once the condition is observed and before the animal is sold or salvaged. Together, we will determine whether the animal shall be returned to us or sold for slaughter/salvage value. Cabral Livestock and/or Fields Angus will attempt to provide a suitable replacement, at the agreement of all parties. If a replacement cannot be provided of equal value, we will issue a sale credit for the full purchase price (less the salvage value, if any).

On behalf of Cabral Livestock, we would like to invite you all to the 2nd Annual True West Genetics Production Sale to be held at the Sherman County Fairgrounds in Moro, Oregon on Saturday, February 21st.
Coffee and doughnuts will be provided for those that come early to view the bulls, beginning at 10:00am PST. We will have vendors on-site as well, so we invite you to bring the whole family!
We will be serving a tri-tip lunch at 12:00pm and the Sale will begin at 1:00pm. All sale animals will be available at the Fairgrounds for viewing on sale day, inside the heated building so weather isn’t an issue!
Our family has been involved in the commercial cattle industry in the Northwest since 1877. We know what it takes to survive in the business and we have shaped our seedstock operation on those traits that the commercial cattlemen depend on. Our cattle have two jobs; to produce offspring and profitability. Our registered herd runs in the same conditions as our commercial cows to ensure they can perform and work at your ranch, too.
We are excited to offer a group of bulls this year from the heart of our program. These bulls are out of cows that we run, allowing us to showcase the genetics that are working and performing for our operation. These calves are born right here in Sherman County, and are put to the test from the beginning, having to “earn” their living. We take pride in the way we run our cattle and look forward to seeing our genetics work for you.

It is a true pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd Annual Fields Angus & SimAngus Cattle Sale. We sincerely appreciate your interest in our program and the trust you place in our family. The relationships we’ve built with fellow cattlemen over the years mean a great deal to us, and we’re grateful for the continued support that allows us to do what we love every day.
Raising quality cattle has been a lifelong pursuit for our family, and we’re proud to share this year’s offering of a strong, well-balanced selection of Angus and SimAngus bulls with you. Our program continues to evolve through intentional breeding decisions and a commitment to producing cattle that work in real-world ranch environments. The addition of the Corsair Angus Cow Herd in 2023 further strengthened our foundation and reinforced our focus on dependable, high-quality genetics.
In the summer of 2025, we relocated our operation to Heppner, Oregon, and the transition has been a positive one for both our family and our cattle. We’ve truly enjoyed the move and are grateful to be part of such a strong agricultural community. The country, conditions, and people here align perfectly with our philosophy of developing cattle that are rugged, functional, and built to last.
