Welcome to our annual bull sale! It is with renewed optimism that we can approach 2021 in a positive light. The Covid-19 proved America still loves to eat beef. With consumption levels up, the industry weathered the uncertainty of the Covid-19 effect stronger than had originally been expected. As producers of beef, it is important we continue to address the needs and demands of the consumer. To pursue these goals we must first address our individual decisions when it comes time for herd improvement. Bull selection is a major key element in moving a cow herd in the direction of economic sustainability and demands attention to tried and proven predictable bloodlines. Our sale bulls have been DNA tested and have genomic-enhanced EPDs. Thus, they will have greater accuracies and more meaningful data. We also ultrasound our herd, bulls and females, for carcass information, with an emphasis on genetic potential for marbling. This is information we use in our decision making, and also pass on to our bull customers for their evaluation. Through the use of artificial insemination, and purchasing of high-end balanced and functional bulls, we strive to produce a product for you that will help propel your program forward. Our bulls are thick and easy fleshing individuals with style, eye appeal, and workable dispositions. Sale Terms
The cattle sell under the terms and conditions of the American Angus Association. Each bull will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision shall be final. Terms of the sale are cash.
Sale Order
Bulls will sell by sale order supplement, provided sale day.
Meal
Lunch will be provided sale day.
Retaining Interest
Nansel’s Flying N Ranch is retaining one-third revenue sharing semen interest in each bull selling in the sale. The buyer retains full possession and salvage value of their purchased bulls.
Cattle Viewing
Bulls will be on display at Nansel’s Flying N Ranch prior to sale or at Miles City Livestock Commission, Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm.

Delivery
Free delivery up to 300 miles with total purchase of $3,500 or more, additional mileage at cost. All bulls will be delivered from April 1, 2021 to April 10, 2021.
Certificate of Registry Registration papers will be transferred at seller’s expense, if requested by purchaser on sale day.
Semen Test
All bulls will have passed a breeding soundness exam and semen test before delivery.
Ultrasound Carcass Data
The bulls were ultrasound measured by Elin Kittelmann, AAA CUP Certified. Results available on sale day, and one week prior to sale day on our website.
Herd Health
Bulls have received the Fuse Guard Foot Rot vaccination and booster, and have recently been poured with Ivermectin.
First Year Breeding Guarantee
All bulls selling for $3,500 or more will be covered 50% by Nansel’s Flying N Ranch if they are injured during their first breeding season and not able to return to service during that first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. 50% of the value of the injured bull, minus onehalf salvage value, will be given as credit in a future sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. Salvage value, if any, will be split equally between Nansel’s Flying N Ranch and the buyer. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian . Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made by September 1, 2021.
