The Nansel families welcome you to our annual Black Angus Bull Sale! Every year in the livestock business seems to present challenges which we must deal with and issues to be resolved. This year’s drought demanded many tough management decisions that had to be addressed. Producing and harvesting ample feed-stuffs proved to be most difficult and defeating. However, the yearling market and calf prices were better than expected. Many producers sold their calves higher this year than last year. And beef demand continues at an all time high. So, the optimists that we are, we continue to persevere and strive to produce the best beef products we possibly can. Selecting that perfect bull to move your breeding program forward is a step in the right direction in producing a quality product. Ok, maybe there isn’t such a thing as a “perfect bull”, but at our sale taking your best shot will put you darn close to realizing the goal of owning that “perfect bull”. As usual our bulls are packed with power and are stylish, easy fleshing individuals with eye appeal and workable dispositions. Come join us sale day. Sale Terms
The cattle sell under the terms and conditions of the American Angus Association. Each bull will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision shall be final. Terms of the sale are cash.
Sale Order
Bulls will sell by sale order supplement, provided sale day.
Meal
Lunch will be provided sale day.
Retaining Interest
Nansel’s Flying N Ranch is retaining one-third revenue sharing semen interest in each bull selling in the sale. The buyer retains full possession and salvage value of their purchased bulls.
Cattle Viewing
Bulls will be on display at Nansel’s Flying N Ranch prior to sale or at Miles City Livestock Commission, Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1pm.

Delivery
Free delivery up to 300 miles with total purchase of $3,500 or more, additional mileage at cost. All bulls will be delivered from April 1, 2022 to April 10, 2022.
Certificate of Registry Registration papers will be transferred at seller’s expense, if requested by purchaser on sale day.
Semen Test
All bulls will have passed a breeding soundness exam and semen test before delivery.
Ultrasound Carcass Data The bulls were ultrasound measured by Elin Kittelmann, AAA CUP Certified. Results available on sale day, and one week prior to sale day on our website.
Herd Health
Bulls have received the Fuse Guard Foot Rot vaccination and booster, and have recently been poured with Ivermectin.
First Year Breeding Guarantee All bulls selling for $3,500 or more will be covered 50% by Nansel’s Flying N Ranch if they are injured during their first breeding season and not able to return to service during that first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90day period following the first turnout of the bulls. 50% of the value of the injured bull, minus one-half salvage value, will be given as credit in a future sale or toward a replacement bull if one is available. Salvage value, if any, will be split equally between Nansel’s Flying N Ranch and the buyer. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian . Please notify us as soon as possible should injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made by September 1, 2022.
