Join us on Saturday 1pm at the ranch Olive, MT
March 21, 2026

A big “Howdy” from the Gnerer Angus Family,

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to check out our program and our 2026 bull offering.
We value every customer we are given the opportunity to serve. As always, we strive to bring our customers the best product by focusing on the main staples of our cow herd including fertility, efficiency, longevity, durability, and correct udder and feet quality. We put a large emphasis on disposition and we are probably most wellknown for our gentle cows.
Our program has been built around a superior female. We have heavily culled our cow herd leaving only the time-tested and proven elite females. In turn, the superior seedstock has followed. It really is as simple as that.
We live in the rangeland of Southeastern Montana. The summers are harsh, hot, and often drought laden. Our winters are frigid and most times unrelenting as temps can reach 40 below zero. Our cattle must perform without the luxury of irrigated pastures, corn fields, or green river bottoms. Our cows turn hill sides and dryland pastures into profit. NO pampering - NO fed in genetics- just actual “real world’ profit from cows that flat WORK. They work for us and their genetics will work for you.
We would love to chat with you about the needs and goals of your operation. Please call, text, or stop in anytime.
The Gnerer’s love to talk and love to talk about cattle even more. We look forward to hearing from you and we hope you can join us sale day.

We had heard a lot of great things about John and Breezy Millar’s “Duke” from South Dakota and we are happy that we decided to use him. We love that his pedigree is stacked with PATHFINDER cows, and his dam Millars Queen Lass 5273 owns WW and YW ratios of 4@114 respectively! Duke’s calves did come easy and they had great vigor, noticeable favorites in our calf crop. Duke has proved effective in marking his offspring, with added length, volume, calving ease, and growth. We are calving the heifers out of Duke and they are a beautiful bunch. Great mothers with lots of volume!

GDAR Justified 914 is a balanced sire that covers all the bases! We were able to get a good look him at World West Sires. He is level in his design, huge topped, wide based, big ribbed and steps down on a perfect foot- very PERFECT! On the move, 914 is super sound and athletic - covering his track on every stride. 914 is stamping all his progeny with his same shape, structure and ease of fleshing he exhibits. The cow family behind 914 traces back almost 70 years at Gartner-Denowh, originating with the cow that started the Donna’s and Forever Lady’s! 914 daughters are impressive and look to make model cows. Use 914 to sire calves that come easy and grow, are easy to handle and built to last!
