Welcome to our annual bull sale

Welcome and thank you for choosing to spend your day and time with our family! Year after year we have been humbled and blessed with all the support we have had in our program. We want you all to know how deeply grateful we are for every ounce of time and confidence you have shown us.

Anderson Cattle Company has been producing registered Angus cattle since 1996 and still firmly believe a lot of our program started with a strong maternal herd. That herd has grown to allow us to use not just the top trusted sires of today, but sires that add new blood, soundness, more gain, and more profit for all producers, big or small. Our mission has always been to produce functional, balanced traits, problem-free cattle that work in our environment. They must be fertile, have good udders, a moderate frame, wide base with bone and muscle that will yield an end product that meets our industry and consumer expectations.

This year we are offering a very uniform set of bulls that have shown all the traits we strive for. It was a slow start to grass last year but the rain’s throughout the summer provided continuous feed to see a lot of growth come weaning time. All calves weaned strong and never missed a beat on eating.

We strongly encourage those interested to come and view our bulls prior to sale day! We will even provide the curry comb for scratches.

What a record setting year we are already seeing in the cattle industry with rumors of no end soon. As we quoted last year, the next few years ahead will be ones we tell our grandkids about. We look forward to the continued partnership’s and the new ones we form moving forward.

Terms & Conditions

All cattle sell under the terms and conditions of the American Angus Association. Terms of the sale are cash on sale day, unless prior arrangements have been made. Announcements made the day of the sale take precedence over all the printed information.

Liability

All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk, legal, or otherwise for their own safety or the behavior of the animals. The owner’s assume no liability for property loss or any accidents that may occur.

Health

All bulls have had Bovi-Shield Gold 5 and Vision 7 at branding and with Pyramid 5 + Presponse SQ, Vision 7 with Somnus and Endovac preweaning. They were poured with Ivomec and drenched with Safeguard preweaning, then poured with Cleanup this winter. They will be given a Fusoguard vaccine before delivery.

Fertility

Bulls will be semen tested at the ranch around the end of March, or first of April, weather permitting. Bulls are guaranteed the first year breeding season.

Delivery

Delivery will be provided for all bulls, and buyers will be contacted prior to delivery date to make arrangements. For delivery over 300 miles, a central location will be chosen to meet at.

Location

Sale is held at the Anderson Ranch located at 632 CB Rt Rd, Glendive, MT 59330. Take Exit 192 Bad Route Road off I-94 in between Glendive, MT and Fallon, MT. Go south past the rest stop for1 mile to stop sign. Then, turn right (west) and go about 1 mile to the first ranch on the right.

Details

All are welcome to view the bulls prior to sale day and encouraged to come early on sale day to walk through the pens. Sale time is 1pm MST. Updated DNA results with Angus GeneSeek will be completed and back by sale day and an updated supplement sheet will be available.
