GROWING TOGETHER IN ALBERTA
Thanks to your generous support, Hope Channel Canada is entering an exciting new phase! We are thrilled to announce a partnership with the Alberta Conference, Burman University, and the Burman Ministry Centre in Lacombe, Alberta. For the first time, we will be able to produce local, diverse content outside Ontario, making our message of hope even more relevant and accessible nationwide.
This initiative was born from the vision of leaders including Jeff Potts (Alberta Conference), Loren Agrey (Burman University), Kevin Kiers (Burman Ministry Centre), and our own Evaldo Vicente and Douglas Pereira. Together, they saw the potential of the Burman Ministry Centre’s studio to expand production and involve more volunteers from Alberta.
Dr. Loren Agrey, President of Burman University, expressed his hope that their contribution of staff and studio space will be multiplied by God to bless Canadians from coast to coast. His words remind us that every act of generosity, no matter the size, can make a lasting impact.
A key focus of this partnership is empowering local church members and students in media ministry. The Burman Ministry Centre will offer hands-on opportunities for students to learn and serve, both on camera and behind the scenes. This aligns with our commitment to total member involvement and ensures that the Alberta Adventist community plays an active role in our mission.
For students at Burman University, this means valuable real-world experience and the chance to share their talents with a wider audience. Your support makes these opportunities possible, helping to nurture the next generation of Christian communicators.
The content created through this partnership will allow us to address the unique needs and stories of Canadians, strengthening our church family and enriching our programming for all viewers.

This annual gathering is a highlight for our faith community—a time to worship, connect, and celebrate the work God is doing across Ontario.

inspiring updates about the difference your support is making.
