Dear friends in the beef business,

We are excited!! What a year for the cattle industry! Demand for beef is at an all time high, low numbers due to droughts and other circumstances have finally gotten the market where it needs to be. If you own a cow/calf operation you are getting paid for your labors!! God is good!!

With the higher inputs and higher costs of doing business it is more important than ever to gather the extra premiums in the marketplace. We believe we are positioned to help any potential customer get the most out of their calf crop whether through selling on weaning day, retaining ownership, genetic opportunities, or having quality replacements bred up well and sought after by good cattlemen.

This bull offering is the best we have offered to date, and it runs deep. We are offering about 75 older bulls and about 40 spring yearlings. The set of older bulls were wintered here and turned out on pasture about May 1st. Bulls have been on feed since about the 1st of September to get into sale shape. They have grown well, and have made another cut whether with feet, health, or confirmation. We are proud of this set! Many are AI bred or Embryo Transfer calves that have performed well for 18 months. Whether you are looking for calving ease or power bulls we have some to fill each need and many that will do both. All of the older bulls will be PAP tested before the sale at our location of about 5200’. As we continue to focus on heart health of the bulls, our PAP scores have decreased annually, and have made large improvements in PAP as well as in the cattle we feed out.

The set of 40 yearling bulls we have to offer this year are really exciting. Many progeny from leading sires Conclusion, Man in Black, Red State, Stock Fund, Craftsman, Ratified, Jumpstart and more. This is the best set of young bulls we have offered to date by far. The potential herd sires in this group runs deep.

The females we are offering are right off the top. The heifers being sold are all but 10 of our spring and summer replacements. We are extremely excited about this set. Several donor prospects lead the offering. The only genetic option we are offering this year, is a flush from the only daughter of Pine View Rita E093 by Pine View Red State. The potential genetic value of this flush should have a good ROI.

Youth are our future, and with that in mind, we are giving another heifer away!!! Any youth ages 6 to 17 in attendance on sale day can be entered in a drawing to win the heifer. The winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the sale.

LIABILITY - All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - Announcements from the block will take precedence over the catalog. Buyers Unable to attend may send bids to CK6 Consulting, Field Representatives or Auctioneers.

GUARANTEE

– Bulls selling for $5,000 or more are fully guaranteed for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the first 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. If a replacement bull is available, he will be provided, or if the buyer prefers, credit will be given in the following year’s sale, less the salvage value of the injured bull. Please notify us as soon as possible should an injury occur and prior to the bull being sold for salvage.

PAYMENT TERMS – Payments for purchases made can be made in December of 2025 or January of 2026.

VOLUME DISCOUNT

– A volume discount can be earned on multiple bull purchases. For 3 bulls purchased, buyer will receive a 3% discount on all bulls purchased. Each subsequent bull purchased will earn an additional 1% off. Maximum discount will be 8% for all bulls when purchasing 8 or more bulls.

DELIVERY

– Older bulls, coming 2’s and fall bulls, will start being delivered in December and January or we will hold until April/May at a charge of $4/day to winter starting Jan. 15th. If you pick up the older bulls on sale day or within a week. A $100 credit per bull will be issued. If buyer leaves an older bull to be wintered, buyer will be expected to pick up their bull(s) by May 15th.

Coming Yearling Bulls will be wintered for free and delivered starting April 1st at no charge. If bulls cannot be received before May 1st, bulls will be boarded at $4/day. Free delivery is for the lower 48 and all bulls selling for over $5,000.

Females will be delivered for a flat fee of $150 per female or arrangements can be made with multiple purchases.

SEMEN TESTING –

2-year-old bulls and Fall yearling bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale. All young bulls will be guaranteed to pass a breeding soundness exam before delivery is made.

HEALTH – Bulls will be accompanied by health certificates as required. In addition to the normal array of vaccinations and de-wormers, bulls have been vaccinated twice with Fusoguard to prevent foot-rot bacteria. Re-vaccinating them annually will help prevent most foot-rot problems.

BULL DATA – All bulls in the offering have been DNA tested. Full data will be available upon request. Younger bulls we would request that we winter them so that we can take all applicable data necessary to have a complete set with their contemporaries.

PAP TESTING – All older bulls will be PAP tested at 5200’ by Dr. Morgan Toye, a Dr. Holt recommended veterinarian.

Online viewing and bidding will be available through DV Auction. Please sign up to bid at least 24 hours in advance of the sale. High speed internet required. Videos will be posted two weeks prior to the sale.

Amanda Radke is a fifth generation rancher from Mitchell, SD. Alongside her husband, Tyler, and their four children, they operate Radke Land & Cattle, an Angus seedstock operation. A former National FFA Extemp Speaking Champion and National Beef Ambassador, Radke has spent nearly 20 years on the road fighting to keep agricultural families on the land, rural main street businesses thriving, and an abundance of food on the dinner table.

Amanda is an entrepreneur at heart and wears many hats, in addition to being a ranch mom. She’s the host of “The Heart of Rural America” podcast and radio show, a syndicated columnist, a western retailer, a cattle industry consultant with CK6, a partner in a new auction platform called Bid On Beef, and a children’s book author focused on promoting ag literacy in schools.
