Reaching 30 annual sales and over 70 years in the Registered Angus business is something we do not take lightly, and it would not be possible without the trust, support, and friendships built with customers like you along the way.
When we held our first bull sale, our goal was simple: raise sound, functional bulls that would go out and work—year after year—while adding value to our customers’ cow herds. That goal has never changed. Over the years, we have continued to refine our program with a strong emphasis on maternal strength, structural integrity, disposition, fertility, and performance that makes sense in real-world conditions.
The bulls in this year’s sale represent generations of careful selection and intentional breeding. They have been developed to thrive in a commercial environment, not pushed for short-term looks, but grown with longevity and durability in mind. We believe this year’s offering is our best yet, with many bulls out of new sire groups and a great selection of bulls that will work on heifers! We are especially excited to showcase a large offering of sons of our home-raised sire TBA Brunswick 1425. Brunswick was our top selling bull in the 2022 Sale where he was purchased by Select Sires.
We are especially grateful to the many repeat customers who have stood behind our program year after year, as well as those attending for the first time. CATTLE VIEWING
Bulls can be viewed at the sale location starting Wednesday afternoon until sale time. We welcome you to visit us at the farm any time prior.
DELIVERY
Free delivery in Nebraska and South Dakota. Receive a $100 discount per bull if you haul your own on sale day. We will be happy to assist you in finding trucking for further distances.
TERMS
Terms of the sale are cash or check. Cattle will sell according to the terms and conditions of the American Angus Association.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & LIABILITY
Announcements made sale day take precendence over the sale book. Brookhouser T-Bone Angus Inc. and the Mark and Alex Brookhouser families assume no liability for accidents or injuries. All persons attending do so at their own risk.
GUARANTEE
The offering is guaranteed to be fertile and sound breeders. If a problem occurs, a replacement will be provided, if available, or a sale credit minus $2,000 (salvage value).
BOARDING
Bulls will be boarded free until delivery in late March. Boarding is available at the following rates. Delivery taken before April 15 - $100/hd; May 15 - $200/hd; June 15 $300/hd. Feed must be paid for on sale day.
HEALTH
All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment. The bulls have been on a complete vaccination and mineral program. The bulls in the sale will have passed a breeding soundness exam prior to the sale by Dr. Kirk Sholes, O’Neill Veterinary Clinic.
BULL DEVELOPMENT
Bulls have been developed with the commercial cattlemen in mind.None of the bulls have been creep fed and have been on a high roughage ration since weaning. Bulls are developed to show genetic potential without sacrificing longevity.
SEMEN INTEREST
Brookhouser T-Bone Angus will retain a 1/3 semen interest in all bulls selling unless prior arrangements are made. The buyer will receive 100% possession and full salvage value.

He captured the attention of many with his striking presence, excellent structure, and outstanding performance. Eternity’s dam, Sitz Pride 200B, is also the mother of Sitz Stellar and one of the best cows to come out of the maternally oriented Sitz Angus herd. HEIFER PREGNANCY (HP) EPD
Use Heifer Pregnancy (HP) EPDs to compare sires ability to sire fertile replacement females! Heifer pregnancy EPDs are to be used as a tool to increase the chance of a sire’s daughters becoming pregnant during a normal breeding season. A higher EPD is the more favorable direction for selection pressure. As with other EPDs, the relative difference among sires is of importance rather than the absolute value.
Figure 1 provides an example of the use of heifer pregnancy EPDs. Assume there are 100 daughters for each of the two bulls, managed and treated alike in the same breeding environment. When comparing the two bulls, one would expect an average of 5 more pregnant daughters out of 100 from Bull A compared with Bull B. Essentially Bull A’s daughters have a 5% greater chance of becoming pregnant than Bull B’s daughters.

Montana Killebrew 2049 was a high selling bull of the 2023 Montana Ranch Bull sale to Wes Kilmurry. Killebrew is a deep bodied, phenotypically attractive bull that is easy fleshing and slick haired. His dam, Joanie 3063, is an elite Pathfinder cow and is also the mother of Montana Judgement 1038, the full brother to Killebrew.
