We are excited to announce the upcoming 2026 Annual Hunt Angus Production Sale of our registered Black Angus bulls, proudly raised in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. This year’s sale will take place at 1pm on January 26, 2026, at our new Sale Location - From Anselmo: 2 miles north and 5 miles East on Columbia Table Road, and 1 mile North on road 433. We invite you to join us for an opportunity to select from a lineup of exceptional bulls bred for performance, reliability, and genetic excellence.

At Hunt Angus, our mission is to produce cattle that thrive in diverse conditions while meeting the demands of today’s cattle industry. The bulls in this year’s offering have been carefully developed with a focus on:

Each bull has been thoroughly evaluated, including fertility testing and full EPD profiles, to provide you with the confidence you need when making your selections.

VOLUME DISCOUNT

A 3% discount will be given on 3+ bulls purchased.

TRUCKING Free delivery within a 250-mile radius of Anselmo, Nebraska. Bulls will be wintered until March 1, 2026, at which time bulls will be delivered or picked up by buyer(s).

FERTILITY & HERD HEALTH All Bulls are guaranteed breeders. Older bulls have been fertility tested and scrotal measured by Broken Bow Animal Hospital (308) 872-5281. Yearling bulls will be fertility tested in mid to late February. In the Event a yearling bull does not pass the fertility exam following the sale date, the buyer has the option to select a replacement bull or have the purchase price fully refunded. The bulls have had a complete vaccination program.

RETAINED INTEREST Hunt Angus is retaining an ⅓ interest in all bulls in this sale. Buyer has full possession and all salvage value of the bull.

TERMS & LIABILITY All announcements from the block will take precedence over any written material. Hunt Angus, Sam and Angie Hunt, A.D. and Michaela Hunt, Chris and Sadie Rotherham, Hunt and Hunt, and Hunt and Hunt LLC assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur. All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. All cattle will sell under the recommended terms and conditions of the American Angus Association.

GUARANTEE All bulls selling are guaranteed for the first breeding season against breeding injury. First breeding season is defined as the 60 days from first turnout of the bull(s). If a replacement bull is not available, or if buyer prefers, credit, minus salvage value, will be given in the next year’s sale. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. In the unlikely event that any of the bulls shall be proven to be defective, damages resulting from their use shall be limited to their purchase price. Please notify Sam or Chris as soon as possible should injury occur. All claims must be made by September 1, 2026. This guarantee does not cover death loss.

SIGHT UNSEEN GUARANTEE We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for sight unseen purchases when made through a representative of Hunt Angus. Please Contact us before the sale and we will help you find the bull that will best fit your needs.
