One thing I really do appreciate and enjoy about the purebred Angus business is no two programs are alike. Thank goodness for that! The physical appraisal of the animal, the location of the program, and most importantly, the business approach by the ownership are the diverse combination of programs. I can tell you those three points have never been more clear as an asset to me, especially after meeting Casey Hill and Mike Facemeyer.

On a regular basis, they challenge me and themselves to merge cattle breeding into a business setting. I appreciate their aggressiveness, competitiveness, and character at GMC Genetics to build and mold their GMC brand. Mike’s daughter, Sydney, has recently come on full-time to round out the team that meets and surpasses the expectations of Casey Hill. She has stepped up to the plate and has done a great job with all aspects of the program.

The offering is simply a top end reflection of one of the most elite donor pens in the country. The last three years, no program has been more aggressive on acquiring and improving on the best cow families and genetics there is to offer. I don’t usually mention individual lots in the offering, but the half interest in Pine View Rita E093 is one of the great opportunities I can think of in the country.
