For a progressive Grundy County Our county. Our Future
Phillip Ray - REP
(write-in)
Kevin Ireland
MUST write name on line and MUST color oval next to name
I am Kevin Ireland. I would be proud to be your next Grundy County Presiding Commissioner. My goal is to serve the citizens of Grundy County in a straight forward, honest, transparent way. I am Grundy County born and raised, so my roots run deep. While my roots run deep, my passion for leaving this county in a good position for future generations is of the utmost importance. While my decisions will always be based on facts and a commonsense approach, I will always push for what I believe is best for all citizens of Grundy County while having a team player attitude.
8. Provide quality prenatal and post natal health care 9. Provide mental health support in postpartum, 10. Ensure access to safe and affordable housing 11. Create more reliability and consistency in abortion laws 12. Increase funding for public education.
Goals 1. I will strive to keep a strong ambulance department, whether as a standalone district or restructured under the commissioner's guidance. We all hope we will never need them, but we need to make sure they are here if we ever do. 2. To implement and move forward with the recently approved county brush law. 3. To help reestablish our road and bridge department as a full functioning part of county maintenance.
I appreciate your current and future support. To make your vote count, remember to COLOR IN THE OVAL AND WRITE KEVIN IRELAND ON THE LINE *This ad paid for by Candidate.

Pre-printed Circulars Inside:
for Grundy County Presiding Commissioner
Endorsed by the Pro-Choice Missouri PAC, but I also consider myself pro-life. because I oppose capital punishment because of our broken justice system which sometimes convicts innocent people, and I support reducing abortions, not by banning abortions (which is ineffective and only makes them illegaJ and dangerous), but by the common-sense method of reducing unwanted pregnancies, using the following measures:
I support the second amendment's right to keep and bear arms and solving the problem of gun violence by emphasizing the "well-regulated" part of that amendment with registration, licensing, training, testing for physical and mental abilities to use certain classes of firearms, classification of various firearms, etc. I propose restructuring the state income tax rate schedule to raise the level at which the top rate kicks in, thereby reducing taxes for most people and raising the rate for the wealthiest one or two percent to make the outcome revenue neutral. Rebuild our crumbling infrastructure using funding from the Federal Infrastructure Bill, which would also create a lot of good, high-paying jobs for our citizens. Repeal the Hancock Amendment to enable the legislators to fully fund the state's programs. More funding of public educations at all levels, including pre-school and post-high technical and higher education, preparing our young people to enter the work force. Funding for improved training of police officers, especially in the field of mental health to enable them to assess the mental condition of the people they are dealing with and respond appropriately. Put more emphasis on switching to renewable energy sources to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and take more seriously the impending threat of global climate change to future life and livability on this planet. Protect the peoples' right to initiative petition and not enable the legislature to counteract the will of the people.
