Former Trenton Resident Sits with Supreme Court of Missouri Judge John R. LePage, an associate circuit judge in McDonald County (in the 40th Judicial Circuit), sat with the Supreme Court of Missouri during arguments Wednesday morning, September 11, by special designation. LePage was sitting in place of Judge Ginger K. Gooch, who recused. “We were pleased to welcome Judge LePage as a colleague on the Court for oral arguments
today,” Chief Justice Mary R. Russell said. “We respect his expertise and perspective, and we appreciate his valuable contributions to the case. On Sept. 4, a Grundy County student was honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture with academic scholarship support for the 2024-2025 academic year. These scholarships are part of the more than $1.8

Grundy County Committee Minutes The Grundy County Republican Central Committee met Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Republican Headquarters to discuss Amendment 3 and make plans to defeat it. Ferguson Ferguson Coach Ferguson graduated from Trenton High School in 1958 and was a standout athlete in Football, Basketball, and Track. He began teaching and coaching in Macon, MO, in 1962 before returning home to Trenton in 1965. Coach Ferguson spent the next 27 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator in the Trenton R-9 School District. Upon retirement in 1992, Coach Ferguson con-
volunteer. He has been a mainstay at home track events as an official and head-timer throughout his retirement. As grand marshall, he will preside over more than 30 floats.
