Public Power Week On October 7th through the 10th, communities across the nation will be recognizing their publicly owned electric utility and all that it does for the community. Trenton Municipal Utilities will join with 2000

other municipal utilities to celebrate the 38th Annual Public Power Week. On October 11th, a Customer Appreciation Open House will be held at City Hall. Cookies and punch will be served from 9:00 to noon.

The Trenton Coin Club holds a meeting and auction at the Grundy County Health Department Annex Building, 1307 E. 17th St. Meetings are held the second Sunday of each month at 1pm. Doors open at 12:30pm. You do not have to be a member to attend or to buy. For more information please call 660673-6171

Trenton Little League Football hosted the Palmyra Panthers Saturday (28th) at CF Russell Stadium. The 5th grade team came away with a win 18-0 and have a season record of 2-0. The 6th grade game ended with a tie 12-12 which makes their record 0-1-1. The Bulldogs will see action again at home on Saturday, October 5th against the Tigers of Kirksville. Games begin at 5:00 at CF Russell Stadium.
