2025 Open Day Redesigned

Welcome to our 2025 ‘Honesberie Festival’ formally known as our Annual Open Day.

This year we are back and bigger than ever!

We have multiple different activities available including clay shooting, air rifles, cross-bows, shooting competitions and even virtual reality shotgun sports thanks to Mega VR Simstock.

Expect show-stopping displays from Swift Dog Training and Bird on the Hand where you’ll get the opportunity to learn all about gun dogs and interact with some magnificent birds of prey.

Have a stroll around our Trade Village where you can meet leading industry brands or grab a bite to eat from one of our delicious food options.

From bouncy castles and magic shows to shooting competitions and live music ~ there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy!

Finding Us

Honesberie is located along the Hardwick road between Priors Hardwick and Priors Marston. You will turn down a long drive way which leads you through an open green security gate and onto a farm. Please follow the Honesberie signage through the farm (making sure to drive slowly) and onto a gravel driveway which leads to Honesberie Shooting School. Upon arriving a parking steward will greet you, provide you with a wristband and guide you as to where best park.

ShootingTokens

If you plan on shooting the have-a-go stands (self-caddy stands are separate) then you must purchase your tokens from the front desk in the club house or lake hut.

WheelchairAccessibility

The clubhouse is accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users by the left hand side of the building (see site map). A shuttle to the shooting stands is also available via request-please speak to a member of staff. Please be aware that whilst adjustments have been made to make the site more accessible, most of the grounds are grass and therefore not wheelchair suitable.

Have-a-go shooting

We will be offering a range of shooting activities including, Clay, Air Rifle, Archery and Crossbows. These are £10 a go for clays and £5 for archery and crossbows. We will be accepting donations for the airambulance charity air rifle sharpshooter.

Shooting Competitions

We will be holding a ‘Golden Teal’ and 25 Compak competition. These are £20 to enter with prizes not to be missed!

Rifle Range Sessions

Filming and Photography

Please be advised that filming and photography will be taking place at Honesberie Shooting Grounds, during the Honesberie Festival 2025, this could be in and around the clubhouse, trade village area, car park and shooting range.

If you do not wish to appear in any images captured please inform someone at front desk (located in the clubhouse) so that we can take appropriate steps to ensure you are not included. The photographs/film could potentially be included in Honesberie publications or in Honebserie promotional materials in the future and may also be published on the Honesberie website.

Dogs

Your four-legged friends must be kept under control and must be kept on a lead at all times on all parts of the shooting ground with an ID tag displaying a contact number. Please clean up after your dog. Dogs are not to be left in vehicles in warm weather.

Disclaimer of Liability

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, Honesberie shooting do not accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to participants, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever.

Emergencies and FirstAid

When walking anywhere along the shooting path (marked by the black line on site map), we strongly advise guests to wear head and ear protection. When shooting guests must wear head, ear and eye protection (Honesberie are able to supply these) . Emergency first aid can be contacted through any Honesberie Official, who will be recognisable through their Honesberie Uniform. First Aid Kits can be found in the clubhouse, please ask a member of staff if you require assistance.
