Butterflies are live symbols of freedom and beauty. Many artists have used them in their works as inspiration or as the subject matter because of their strong association with freedom and their representation of nature’s beauty Due to their nature, they symbolize change and the positive outcomes that can occur. Our subconscious mind, however, symbolizes butterflies in many different ways. It analyzes their color, shapes, and compositions without us realizing what it means.
The design concept of this building is the butterfly. The butterfly is the representative of people who suffers from addiction or have been directed to darker path The initial cocoon of the butterfly symbolizes the internal struggles of drug users, and the progression into a colorful winged butterfly represents a new horizons, new light for the better future. The butterfly begins migration, persevering through obstacles which are comparable to the healing process those drug addict faces.
