Agkuyog is an ilocano term which means sama-sama or together in English.
Co Existing means to exist together at the same time, to live in peace despite differences
The Concept Ag "Coe" yog highlights the two buildings which is the main (existing evacuation) and the annex that coexists together in one place having the same function during calamity which is a refuge to those in need and a safe place for vulnerable communities
And"Coe" yog also highlights inclusivity that both pets (cats and dogs) and human coexists together and have different needs but those differences connects them because of the bond and because they are "agkakuyog" (kasama)
Dogs and cats are just like humans who are also vulnerable to calamities. And Human is not just vulnerable to calamities but also to the sudden effect of losing a pet. One can be incomplete and the other will not survive if one of them is missing
Just like the two proposed building One can be called inhumane and the other will be called bias if only one of them is provided.
