1.0 — Terms and Conditions
1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
2. The promotion is open to all Canterbury residents aged 21 and above, with the exception of employees of Hughes Developments Limited (“the Promoter”), the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion, and the immediate families of all such employees.
3. All entrants must hold a valid full driver’s licence.
4. The promotion commences on Sunday 8 March 2026 at 12:00pm and closes on Sunday 29 March 2026 at 2:00pm (“Promotional Period”).
5. To enter the competition:
→ Entrants are required to collect an entry form (map) from the Arbor Green Information Centre at 56 Accadia Drive, Rolleston 7614 (or from an Arbor Green Show Home Partner) and complete their personal details on the entry form;
→ After visiting a Show Home within the Show Home Village during normal operating hours within the Promotional Period and registering their details with the relevant Show Home Partner, entrants will be given a sticker to place on the map;
→ There will be eleven (11) Show Homes open from 8 March 2026. Each entrant is required to visit and collect stickers from at least ten (10) different Show Homes to be eligible to submit an entry into the Promotion;
→ Entries are to be submitted to Arbor Green Information Centre at 56 Accadia Drive, Rolleston 7614 during normal operating hours before 2:00pm on Sunday 29 March 2026;
→ Each entrant is entitled to complete/submit no more than one map with the Promoter. If, in the Promoter’s sole opinion, the entrant has attempted to enter the promotion more than once or otherwise breach the terms of this promotion, all entries associated with such entrant shall be voided.
6. There will be one prize winner who will win:
→ 2026 Suzuki Jimny Sierra (A6G415VJLXA), 3 door, automatic vehicle (“Vehicle”);
→ On road costs;
→ Dealer warranty for five (5) years;
→ Valid Vehicle Registration and Warrant of Fitness for approximately 11 months; Total estimated value of prize: $41,000
7. There will be one winner randomly selected by the Promoter at 3:00pm on Sunday 29 March 2026 at the Arbor Green Information Centre at 56 Accadia Drive, Rolleston 7614. The winner will be announced in person.
8. It is an essential term of the Promotion that the winner is required to be present at the prize draw in person (and not via a proxy or representative) and present a valid full driver’s licence for identity verification purposes in order to be eligible for the prize. If the winner is not present and does not claim the prize in person after a period of two (2) minutes from the announcement (in the Promoter’s sole judgement), the winning entry will be void and the Promoter will make another random draw (and so on until a winner present in person validly claims the prize). Any person drawn as the prize winner but who fails to claim the prize in person strictly in accordance with this clause will have no claim against the Promoter whatsoever.
9. Change in Ownership/Insurance:
→ The promotion winner agrees to co-ordinate with the Promoter to complete and contemporaneously submit any notice of vehicle disposal/acquisition forms as soon as practicable following the prize draw.
→ The promotion winner will be solely responsible for arranging insurance on the Vehicle prior to any change in ownership being submitted with NZTA and the vehicle being uplifted by the promotion winner.
→ The Promoter agrees to retain the Vehicle (insured for fire and theft only) for up to three (3) working days following the prize draw to enable the promotion winner to effect insurance, provided that any change in ownership forms will not be submitted (nor the Vehicle made available for collection) until insurance has been effected by the promotion winner.
→ For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter will not be responsible for the Vehicle or the insurance of the Vehicle (which shall be at the sole risk of the promotion winner) once change in ownership forms have been submitted (including if the winner wishes to take ownership and uplift the vehicle without effecting insurance)
→ If the promotion winner has not effected insurance and completed change in ownership forms within the three working day period contemplated by this clause 9, the Promoter may in its sole discretion void the winning entry, and the prize winner will have no claim against the Promoter whatsoever. In these circumstances, the Promoter may randomly select another prize winner more or less in accordance with these terms and conditions but notified in a manner determined in the Promoter’s sole discretion.
10. In the event that any of the elements of the prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter will endeavour to substitute prizes of equal or greater value but will be under no other obligation or liability.
11. The prize shall not be transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
12. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter, its employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion or with winning, redeeming or benefiting from the prize.
13. For the avoidance of doubt, paragraph 12 herein shall (without limitation) apply in the case of any loss, cost or damage incurred or suffered by any third party where such loss, cost or damage is caused by the prize winner.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
15. The Promoter is Hughes Developments Ltd, owner and operator of the residential development ‘Arbor Green’, 21 Worcester Boulevard, Christchurch.
16. Entering this promotion, the prize winner agrees to the reasonable use of their name and image (whether still images or video footage) to be used for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation. Without limitation this may include postings on social media including Facebook and Instagram and may include video footage of the live draw. All entrants to this competition agree to the use of their email address being added to the Arbor Green database, which subsequently means being added to the Arbor Green mailing list.
2.0 — Privacy Policy
1. When you enter this or any other competition or promotion, the Promoter may ask for some personal information, including but not limited to your email address, contact phone number, country, age and postal address, which is used solely for the purposes of the competition or promotion.
2. Your information will be kept confidential in compliance with the Privacy Act 1993.
3. For the duration of the promotion your details will be held at Hughes Developments Ltd, 21 Worcester Boulevard, Christchurch or at the Arbor Green Information Centre, 56 Accadia Drive, Rolleston 7614.
4. You may change your personal information at any time during the promotion via email to info@arborgreen.nz
5. Subject to paragraph 16 of the terms and conditions above, your information will not be retained once the promotion has ended and will be deleted in its entirety at the conclusion of the promotion.
