What is a HomeAid Austin Hero?
A HomeAid Austin Hero is someone that sees the need to help those who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. By becoming a HomeAid Austin Hero, you are providing necessary funds and resources that enable us to walk alongside our partners who have a direct impact on this population, aiding them to continue their mission. Our hope is that one day we can live in a world without homelessness.
How It Works
You or your company pledges to donate a certain amount to HomeAid Austin every year on a monthly or quarterly recurring basis. You can set up this payment directly via the HomeAid Austin Hero website or by reaching out to caitie@homeaid.org to pay by check.
You or your company will be automatically enrolled in the program every year unless you contact us to discontinue your participation.
HomeAid Austin will issue a tax letter to your company at the end of the calendar year.
How The Funds Will Be Used
HomeAid Austin receives more requests for projects than we can support. Assets raised through the HomeAid Austin Heroes program will be used to help offset operational and program expenses.
The need for renovations and builds that serve local service providers and the impact they have on the lives of those experiencing or at risk of homelessness is enormous. Our partner organizations rarely have the funds and resources necessary for these projects to come to fruition. HomeAid Austin maximizes the talent and resources inside the homebuilding community to help service providers broaden the scope of their missions through much-needed improvements to their facilities.
